“Good location - friendly host.” The apartment was very clean and comfortable and Pino was extremely friendly and helpful with lots of good tips and information. He kept in touch by text throughout our week long visit. The area is local and not touristy, the apartment is set back in a block away from the road. There is a small supermarket across the road, and a market nearby and a good takeaway pizza restaurant. Access to the centre is very easy with a choice of buses and the tram only a few minutes walk away. The garden is a bonus for evening meals outside. When we stayed it was extremely hot, 38 degrees all week, there is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom but the other room where our sons were staying would have benefitted from a couple of portable fans. The mosquitoes were also out in force so I would advise plenty of deet insect repellent and citronella candles in the height of summer, there is fly screen on the main bedroom windows but not on the others. Make sure you pre-book the Vatican museums so you skip the queues which are very long, the bus around the corner takes you almost directly to St Peter's Square. It is also worth pre-booking tickets to the Colosseum. The park over the road is ideal for a leisurely Sunday picnic and makes a change from the hustle and bustle of the city. We would stay again but we would probably choose Spring or Autumn.

“Modern apartment/great location” The apartment was modern, clean, very well lit and fabulously located. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoyed many good restaurants in the area as well. Francesco was a gracious and accommodating landlord who had information in the apartment for restaurants, sight seeing, maps and almost anything else you would want. We very much enjoyed our one month stay in Rome at this comfortable and well-appointed apartment.

“Clean, Great area, and fully renovated. 100% satisfied!” We were welcomed by Giacomo, the owner, he took the time to show us in the map the places we had to see. He even walked us to a nearby restaurant. The place was Super clean, fully equiped with what we needed. Everything is new. It has a nice patio on the back. We felt safe walking in the neighborhood at night time. We'll rent it again next time we visit Rome.

“Excellent apartment in an excellent location” Stephano and family were fantastic. Arranged for a car service to pick us up at the airport and drop us off at the apartment. “Memory Making” We loved Cassale Il Sonnino. From the moment we arrived, George made us feel at home. We had a wonderful culinary experience, loved the location and felt pampered and warm at the villa. The great room always had a fire when we awoke to a lavish breakfast. When we came home after spending time in Rome or the wonderful local towns, another fire awaited us. George is a culinary master and takes wonderful pride in his meals. He even provided us with a wonderful cake my sister and I remembered from a trip to Rome 30 years ago. It was a true memory maker of a trip!!!

“Easy and Relaxing” Wonderful experience...I had just had a previous rental fall through two weeks before my two adult kids and I were to go to Rome to visit my daughter, in school there. I found Joe's apartment and, although it had only one bedroom, there were two other beds that still allowed for some privacy for the sleepers. We were easy walking distance from the grocery and the Cipro metro stop. The kitchen was well equipped, the terrace was fabulous, and the apartment was peaceful, clean and updated. Joe responded quickly to my inquiry, and to subsequent emails, made it easy to pay the down payment through Paypal, and was very helpful. I recommend the apartment highly, and would definitely rent through Joe again!

“Perfect rental with modern and updated bathroons, 5 min walk to subway and wonderfully helpful owner” This was an ideal and comfortable place for us to stay. It was my husband and I and our three children age 11 and under and my in-laws for 5 nights. The apartment has 3 spacious and nicely decorated bedrooms, a very functional kitchen, excellent coffeemaker with all supplies and a great location in a quiet residential neighborhood just a 10 minute subway ride to all of Rome's major attractions. There is a Tuodi grocery store just across the street. Irina is ideal to work with. She personally took my father in law on a tour of the neighborhood to point out the grocery store, subway stop, and best eateries. We followed all her suggestions about where to eat and shop. There is a croissant factory which had the best white chocolate croissants! Irina arranged for all our airport and train station transports and this was extremely helpful. She returned our security deposit during check out without hesitation. Absolutely no problems with this place. So nice to come home to this apartment after long days of sight seeing. Don't hesitate to rent--it's a great value and will likely go fast.

“Authentic Roman living, Friendly Owner, Top Class Information Pa” The apt is spotlessly clean and well furnished, in a residential street close to the Vatican. There is a market, supermarkets, restaurants, chemists and transport on the doorstep. Central Rome is about 10mins away on one of the frequent busses. The owner arranged our airport transfers for us and was very helpful, putting up with all our emails prior to the trip and providing a transport and amenities information pack [printed and pdf] that is second to none. I feel this apt is best suited to someone who doesn't need to be in the middle of the busy [and costly] tourist centre, but appreciates the chance of living like a local. Highly recommended.
