At the word "fulling" textile machine used in ancient times for the processing of flax and hemp, it has inspired those who gave the name to the old farmhouse that welcomes us, where in 1600 local craftsmen competed in this activity. The farmhouse is finely restored respecting Tuscan tradition, with its large fireplaces, the ancient terracotta floors and beamed ceilings, is located in the beautiful natural scenery of the Tuscan countryside. Between hills and rolling hills, cultivated fields, vineyards and olive groves as the eye, you will be enchanted by breathtaking views and enjoy an oasis of peace surrounded by greenery, relaxing. The Gualtiere is ideal for people who love the simple things, the contact with nature, peace and tranquility. But if you get bored reading a good book and assopirvi shade of an ash tree, tickled by the wind and lulled by the singing of cicadas, a few kilometers await enchanting medieval villages, rich in history, castles, Etruscan tombs, rural churches and all the immense artistic heritage that characterizes the area.
