Description
This cottage wing adjoins the owners house which is situated in a stunning location within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Ideally situated between Scarborough and Whitby for touring the local area or exploring the moors and coast line. Excellent walking and cycling from the doorstep. Horse riding, golf and fishing all available locally.
The property comprises of
Ground floor Living room, dining room/kitchen. Stairs to first floor 2 bedrooms 1 double 1 twin. Bathroom electric shower toilet.
Open fire in the living room initial fuel supplied ,bed linen and towels included.
Cot, high chair,dvd,microwave and washing machine. Indoor and out door games
Very large lawned garden and patio area with bbq fire pit out door seating area with great views during the day and prefect for star glazing at night Pick your own fresh eggs when avaiable
There is parking for two cars. Well behaved pets are welcome. Working farm plenty to see .

“Lovely for a family holiday”
Lovely quiet location. Great for relaxing and exploring local area. Central to Whitby and Scarborough. Lovely local amenities. Friendly and helpful owners. Would definitely come back again

“Cottage is Dirtiest place ever!”
Terrible place. Everything was dirty, tatty and old. We found bread bags full of mould in the bread bin! The extractor fan in the bathroom was full of cobwebs. Carpets worn & ripped. Leaflets adve… More

“First visit to Yorkshire”
Fantastic family holiday in Yorkshire. The cottage was exceptionally comfortable and very well equipped. Clean and tidy with enough space for a family of four. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Only fields and animals to look at and unfortunately no pubs or restaurants in walking distance. 15 mins drive from Scarborough and 30 mins to Whitby. To find the cottage you must drive down a steep narrow track and really the only negative point is the track is not suitable for a normal car. It could do with some of the holes being filled in. The hosts gave us lots of tips on sightseeing and were very friendly. We would definitely consider returning.

“Refreshing and quiet location”
A Charming cottage situated within a working farm a couple of miles from Harwood village, Situated between Whitby and Scarborough. We arrived for our first holiday at the Cottage a couple of years ago at around 5pm to be greeted by Ingrid, Matty and Arthur who showed us around cottage and farm. Since then we have enjoyed several breaks at the cottage with various members of our family and always enjoyed a peaceful time. Our first time was just after lambing and there were lots of lambs running around the yard in front of the cottage. One of my favourite times is mornings when it is nice to watch lots and lots of different varieties of birds flying in and out of the trees and going onto the bird feeders in front of the windows. The cottage is always cosy and it’s so quiet it is difficult not to enjoy a good night’s sleep. The open fire with coal or logs is a sure way to fall asleep. I am looking forward to our next visit.
