Description

Come and relax in Scarborough, one of the Western Cape’s best-kept secrets! The house overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches in the Cape Town area. Surrounded by the Cape Point National Park, there are stunning views in all directions. The area is a well-known spot for surfing, bicycling, hiking and kite-surfing. Or just curl up with a good book and unwind! A friendly restaurant and shop provides a focal point for the local community.

The property is a three bedroom, two bathroom house that can comfortably sleep eight, utilizing an expandable day bed in the living area. With vaulted ceilings, white walls and tasteful décor, the house offers open plan living, and enjoys views over the beach and the surrounding mountains. Balconies at the front of the house on the upper and lower levels allow guests to enjoy the well-tended garden and stunning sunsets over the sea. The house has a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living area and a wood burning stove for chilly winter evenings. There is high speed Wifi access, washer/dryer facilities and secure, off-street parking.

Located in the southern peninsula, approximately 40 minutes outside Cape Town city centre, the house is convenient to Cape Point National Park, Simon’s Town and Boulder’s Beach, surfing at Muizenberg, restaurants and shops in Kalk Bay and Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak Drive and the Cape Point vineyard in Noordhoek. A perfect place for sunsets and long walks on the beach, but also within easy reach of Cape Town and its many attractions. The Constantia vineyards are a short trip away by car and the Stellenbosch vineyards are also within easy reach as half- or full-day excursions. Whale watching and shark diving excursions can be booked in Simon’s Town and surfing lessons can be arranged in nearby Muizenberg.
