COVID-19 NOTICE
We are accepting booking on this unit for those looking to or needing to self isolate.
In light of COVID-19, we are now taking 2 night stays minimum to the extra cleaning between stays required. Please respond truthfully to the following questions regarding you and any guests joining you:
- Do you have a fever and/or cough or difficulty breathing?
- Have you travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days?
- Have you been in contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?
- Have you been in close contact with someone who has an acute respiratory condition?
Note that answering yes to one of these questions does not mean we will will automatically decline the booking, instead answering truthfully will allow us the conversation of how best to accommodate you.
Understand that during your stay with us, we will be keeping ourselves completely separate from you .. don't take it personally .. and once your enter the Cabin, we will only re-enter once you have left. We will also be leaving you a disinfectant product and asking you to clean down surfaces including commonly touched items.

Our country get-away is perfect for those looking to get out of the city and back to nature for a short or extended stay!. Be part of the winter landscape! Enjoy the snow and go for a hike. Bring your own country skis, enjoy the trails. You’ll love our location, full kitchen, access to camp fire, wifi internet, 40" TV, three piece bathroom, laundry facilities and more. Cabin does not have a lake or pool.
Enjoy our trails, biking, being close to nature and much more. Located about 50 min. from Toronto, 25 min. to Canada's Wonderland.
Space
Located almost in the middle of no where and yet just 10 min. from Hwy 400, our space lets you get away from it all while still close to all you need. The space is an open concept cabin featuring full kitchen, one double bed with memory foam topper and two pull out bed sofas all in a relaxing atmosphere and great view over the picturesque Holland Marsh. The Kitchen includes full size refrigerator, stove, pots, pan and most everything you'll need for cooking. Note that the cabin is not by a lake or river and does not have a pool or other area to swim.
Enjoy our newly added and renovated three piece washroom and laundry facilities. Washroom features 36" glass shower with built-in niche, toilet, vanity and lighted mirror with built-in bluetooth speaker. In keeping with our property's "green" theme and giving it some rustic chic, we are featuring our own barn board (taken from our barn renovation project from a few years ago) and reclaimed wood paneling acquired from a home being demolished.
This is a "green" property featuring 60 KW of solar electricity generation supplying this green energy to the electricity grid. We have also done extensive green building projects on the property including a home addition to the property's century farm house using many strategies and products that significantly reduce our carbon foot print and reduce our energy usage. Please note that while we have indicated the location is suitable for pets, we require that you tell us about the pets as part of your booking request. We will be requiring you to sign an agreement upon arrival accepting full responsibility for and damage your pets may cause.
Guest access
As a rural property, we have lots of outdoor space. You have access to a fire pit (wood included), walking trails through our 40 acre tree bush lot, and picnic tables. The quiet traffic area is perfect for biking with most roads paved. During the winter, enjoy skiing, snowshoeing and more.
Entertainment now includes a large 43" 4K Samsung Smart TV with free access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and AppleTV+, Spotify, and internet while featuring Apple TV (AirPlay) / iOS and Android casting plus our own TV and video library via PLEX.
