Description

This spacious (69 sqm), modern one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of the Rockwell building is the perfect base from which to explore everything Cape Town has to offer.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the lounge has a sofa couch (all linen and towels provided), making it perfect for couples and small families. The bathroom has a bath and shower with soap, shampoo etc provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all essentials including microwave, washing machine and dryer. A spacious balcony with views of the harbour enjoys morning sun and offers a perfect relaxation spot after a long days’ sightseeing. Importantly, the apartment is on the quiet side of the building, facing away from the main street, which can be loud at night from the nearby bars and clubs.

Our staff member, Canaan, will take care of your dishes, washing and cleaning once or twice per week by arrangement at no charge and more frequent servicing can be arranged on request.

For internet access, unlimited, high speed (100MB/s) fibre Wi-Fi is included at no charge.

Getting around

The Rockwell has a superb location in De Waterkant within walking distance of some of Cape Town's best shopping and dining opportunities, such as the V&A Waterfront and Cape Quarter. You can easily get around without having to hire a car! Uber has become very popular in and around Cape Town and offers a safe, convenient and cheap taxi service - just download the app and sign up. Highly recommended! The new public transport bus system “MyCiti” offers convenient routes all around the city centre, Clifton, Camps Bay and Hout Bay. The bus stop is 1-minute's walk from the apartment. If you do choose to hire a car there are several car hire companies 1 minute's walk away, and the apartment has a secure, underground parking space.

Interaction with guest

We try to meet our guests personally, but should we be out of town, you will be met by Canaan, our trusted housekeeper. Alternatively, there is a key safe on the door to the apartment for self-check in, with 24-hour security.
