Description
Beautiful sunny spacious cottage in luscious garden in tree-lined suburb withing walking distance of most amenities and transport, 10 minutes from city centre, 15 minutes from airport, 20 minutes from beaches, close to University of Cape Town, SSISA and Kirstenbosch.There is a full bathroom en-suite, kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, microwave oven, fridge, and 2 bar stools around the kitchen counter; lounge with DSTV and DVD player, desk - WIFI available. Mahogany dining room table has four chairs, and there is crockery and cutlery for 4, unless you request an extra 2 places for entertaining. The cottage is serviced daily. Private linen is done on request and is charged per load, washed, dried, ironed/folded. There is off street parking. It is a pet- and smoking-free zone. There are beautiful walks in the forest and along the canals on our doorstep. The famous Vineyard Hotel is across the canal from the property. The property has a gorgeous view of Table Mountain. It is suitable for couples - we do not really cater for children under 15, and it sleeps two people only. Newlands village with its trendy restaurants and shops is a 10 minute walk away - so convenience is the keyword here. The decor is minimal but user friendly and chic. The bed can double up as either twin or king-size extra length and we use high quality linen, some of which is Egyptian cotton. The duvets and pillows are down. The cottage has a private entrance. It leads out onto a lovely sunny shared patio and pool, or alternatively there is a private patio area on the lawn under the trees. It is perfect for expoloring Cape Town, as it is so central. We are situated in the Southern Suburbs and have the renown Newlands cricket and rugby grounds a short walk away. You can also just relax around the pool and go nowhere. We provide you with a welcome pack of breakfast food with tea and coffee on arrival, so that the shelves are not bare. There are always fresh flowers in the lounge area.
