Description

The self-catering lodge has a kitchen, sitting room, 1 double bedroom, hall and bathroom (shower). Furnished in a contemporary style - stainless steel complements white washed wood.

The kitchen has a fridge / freezer, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and washer / tumble dryer.

The sitting room has a sofa and Samsung Smart TV. Free fibre-optic Wi-fi. Towels provided.

Well insulated, double glazing and convector heating.

Verandah with table and chairs.

Located in a woodland glade in the peaceful Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. A secluded setting giving access to miles of woodland and heath-land. Great opportunities for walking, biking and horse riding!

Surprisingly rural though only 7 miles from Guildford with its cobbled high street and luxury shopping, 40 mins by train to London. 40 mins by car to Gatwick or Heathrow.

Close to RHS Wisley Garden (20 mins by car). Polesden Lacey, Hatchlands and Clandon Park National Trust properties are also within easy reach.

Parking adjacent to farmyard, then 80 metre walk up woodland track.

Lettings are by the week starting either Friday or Sunday. It is always worth asking about shorter stays - we are happy to take these either between longer bookings or last minute, 4 weeks or less before date of planned stay.

Getting around

We are fairly secluded here; public transport isn't that accessible. Probably best to bring a car unless you are happy to arrive by taxi from Guildford station and are here to enjoy the walking or biking! Other stations are closer (Gomshall, Chilworth) but you would need to pre-book a taxi.

Interaction with guest

We are always happy to help should you need any suggestions or inspiration about places to visit or local walks. On the other hand if you would rather be left alone to relax and unwind, that's fine too!

House rules

Parking is in the farmyard - there is an 80m walk up a woodland track to the cabin so may not be so easy for the less able. We are always happy to help with luggage.

How do damage deposits work?
