Description from owner
Description
Honeysuckle Cottage. Adjoining Mill Cottage, I hope it will offer flexibility for larger groups to holiday together while maintaining boundaries.
Honeysuckle Cottage, Solva is a charming property sleeping up to 4 people in a perfect setting in Lower Solva. With the River Solfach in front, and woods behind, it is peaceful and quiet, yet just a few minutes on foot away from the
harbour and the shops, pubs and cafes of Main Street. It's prime location is further enhanced with private parking - something of a premium in Lower Solva! There is an enclosed garden to enjoy. The cottage has been refurnished,
and offers comfort and charm. The open plan living accommodation is arranged on the upper floor to make the most of the lovely views and to allow access through to the garden. Downstairs, there is a double bedroom and a cosy bunk bedroom,
sleeping 4 in total. The beds will be made up ready for your arrival, but please note that towels are not provided. There is bathroom with a walk in power shower. The cottage has oil centrally heated plus an open fireplace to enjoy.
Having successfully run Mill Cottage as a family enterprise for over a decade, I am delighted to add Honeysuckle Cottage in 2016.

“Lovely location in a beautiful part of Wales”
The location was really nice, down a quiet unmade road, the private parking was really useful, but would be a bit tight if somebody had booked the next cottage. The cottage was nicely decorated and quite comfortable. The village and harbour are picturesque even in November, and there are some good walks in the area, St Davids is only a short drive, and has a few shops, a small supermarket, and some nice restaurants. We picked up two dressed crabs from Mrs Will the Fish in Upper Solva and would definitely recommend doing this. The only thing i would say is the heating needs to come earlier in the morning as it only came on at 8.30 and we usually went out about 9.00 to make the most of the light, and short days. Otherwise a nice short break.
