Description

Welcome to Barbados and Heywoods Park, located in the parish of St. Peter.

This self-catering one-bedroom apartment is within walking distance of several beautiful beaches, Port St. Charles and Port Ferdinand Marinas. The local shopping area is called Speightstown, which has banks, restaurants, bars and supermarkets.

The living area consists of a SMART TV (cable), Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi throughout the property and a telephone for local calls. There is also a dining table with seating for four people. A fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, kettle, cooker/stove, fridge plates, cutlery, fridge, washing machine, laptop safe and microwave. The bedrooms have UK double beds/US Full-size beds. All bedding, towels and beach towels, an iron and a hairdryer are available for guests. The newly renovated bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and basin and is bright and airy. A veranda with tables and chairs is provided to enjoy the sun and fresh air during the day and evening.

A car is unnecessary as several beaches are 8 mins walk away, and Speightstown is 10 mins walk. If you are looking to hire a car, we can provide companies used by the owner and the previous guests.

A visitor licence costs $10 (Bajan Dollars) from the car hire company or online before your arrival. Please note that the licence is valid for two months.

Local buses are available in Speightstown, transporting you into Bridgetown, Holetown, Grantley Adams Airport and other beautiful places to visit.

“Brilliant Holiday Home”

The property is ideally situated for all the lovely local beaches. All in walking distance. With the exception of a little Gem called Gibbes Beach with is a 10 minute bus ride away. Just ask the driver. It's well worth a visit. Don't forget your cool box and sunscreen it's a very private beach without all the commercial sunbeds etc. Heywoods is another that is well worth visiting a 5 minute walk away and your in paradise by the sea.. The property itself is very well maintained, very homely and well looked after. Has everything you need to make your stay a home from home experience. Debbie the owner cannot do enough too help you. Nothing seems too much and she goes out of her way to make your stay a good one. Even arranging taxi too and from the airport if required. The lady who looks after the house is very helpful and was waiting for us arriving. Even tho we were delayed and didn't arrive till around 9.30pm. She was still happy and took her time explaining everything. So all this enabled us to had a fantastic vacation and we would have no hesitation returning to this property in the future. Thanks Paul

“Our Vacation”

The property was beautiful and comfortable. Nice and quiet neighborhood close to the beach, supermarket, shopping and buses. I would definitely rent this property again. The owner was very accommodating, we can in at 5:30am and she allowed a family member to pick up the key the night before. I recommend this property to anyonr who is coming to visit Barbados and need a quiet place to chill. Thank you

How do damage deposits work?
