Description
Our cosy, comfortable and well equipped semi-detached cottage is approached via winding country lanes and overlooks fields and well tended allotments.
The cottage sleeps 4 in the two bedrooms and is suitable for children 10 years and over. Please note you walk through the back bedroom to access the main front bedroom. We welcome one small well behaved adult dog by prior arrangement.
The accommodation offers two bedrooms on the first floor, accessed via traditional steep cottage-style stairs. The front bedroom has a king-size wooden sleigh bed and freeview TV and is accessed via the back bedroom. The stairs lead directly into the second bedroom which has a zip-and-link bed which can either be made up as a king or small twin with 2ft 6 beds.
The bathroom is on the ground floor with shower over bath and WC.
The lounge offers a wood burning stove for cosy nights in, TV with freeview, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo and docking station. There is a selection of books, DVD's and games for you to enjoy.
The kitchen/diner has a TV, electric oven and hob, microwave, slow cooker and dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped with a good selection of crockery, glasses, dishes, pans and cooking utensils.
In the utility room you will find a full size fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Bed linen, towels, electricity, central heating and WI FI are all included. An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are provided. The first basket of logs is provided in season. The kitchen/diner has tiled flooring so you may like to bring your slippers.
The fully enclosed garden with patio area has views over the open countryside and is ideal for alfresco dining or watching the sunset. Garden furniture with cushions and charcoal BBQ are provided. There is lockable storage for bikes and off-road parking is available for two cars.
One small well behaved adult dog welcome for an additional £18 per stay. Breed & age will be required prior to booking. We ask that pets are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs or left alone in the cottage.
Please note the neighbours do have access to the path around the property.
If you wish to arrange an online grocery shop most of the major supermarkets deliver to the village.

“Most comfortable”

“A Little Gem.”
Myself and my partner booked this cottage for the last week in September and it was fantastic. It was rural but not isolated and was fully equipped with everything you would expect or need. The decor was understated but beautiful and it is perfectly situated for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. Unfortunately the weather was dire for almost the whole week but the cottage was cosy and warm. There is a beautiful garden to sit out in during the warmer, drier months with open views of the surrounding fields. Absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely return.

“Very comfortable cottage in Suffolk”
This cottage had everything we needed for a very good week's holiday.It's been carefully renovated by the owners with a modern bathroom and kitchen without losing its character. We particularly enjoyed visits to Southwold and Constable country, both less than an hour away

“Lovely, cosy, perfectly equipped, clean and rural cottage”
Lovely rural location, quiet and very little noise from the neighbours. Very good location to explore Suffolk. Beach, Newmarket and Cambridge about 1 hours drive, many lovely gardens and NT properties nearby. Cottage is lovely and cosy, very clean, well equipped with sharp kitchen knives (!). Excellent beds. We certainly recommend it!

“Relaxing”
In total agreement with other reviews, a lovely cottage in a very quiet and peaceful location. Amanda is lovely and met us on arrival, making us feel very welcome including our little King Charles Spaniel Mr Findley. The cottage is lovely, incredibly clean and well kept with lots of nice little touches in what was obviously a loving restoration, comes with a good broadband connection, TV, Music etc and a nice kitchen should you require it. It’s a perfect place for those looking to explore East Anglia or simply escape for a while in a relaxing environment. We only live in Essex, but we had such a nice peaceful week. Would definitely use again when in that part of Suffolk. Many thanks to Amanda. Excellent.
