Description

The house, which is on a quiet street in the heart of the medieval town has a large gallery/dining room leading from the street through to a spacious and well equipped kitchen with a Falcon Range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and microwave. The kitchen leads on to a large shaded courtyard with table and chairs for out-door dining.
The master bedroom on the first floor has a King sized bed with ensuite bath and WC. The second bedroom on the top floor has twin beds with ensuite shower and WC and french windows leading onto a balcony. At the back of the house is a large balcony with table and chairs, sun loungers, day bed and sun shade. The living room on the first floor has seating for 6, a large flat screen TV with UK and US satellite channels.

Rental is for a minimum of 1 week and up to a month. If wanted for fewer days than a week, the daily rental fee will be calculated on the basis of a five day week. You may bring a pet if agreed before hand and a pet addendum to the booking contract is signed. Smoking is permitted outside the house (courtyard and balconies).

The house is set on a quiet cobbled street inside the walls of the medieval town. It has been recently restored, maintaining many of its original features. The kitchen is well equipped with a Falcon range cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a WC on the ground floor as well as ensuite to each bedroom.
All the rooms are spacious with high ceilings have stone or tiled flooring and wooden ceilings.
It is a unique house with plenty of charm and decorated as a home rather than a holiday let.

The courtyard is shaded and enclosed with high stone walls and gets direct sun at noon, it has a table and chairs for out-door dining. The top balcony gets a lot of sun in the daytime and is lovely for evening star gazing, or having a cocktail before dinner.

“Lovely, well-maintained Tarascon Medieval Rental”

This was a lovely blast into the past! The hoe is well-equipped and centrally located in town. Easy walk to grocery ad easy drive to streets heading to the heart of Provence. Rooms are nicely set up and comfortable. Very large T.V. room with a slew of english-speaking channels is a real bonus, too. Kitchen is enormous and quite up to date. Absolutely no complaints. Owner also gives excellent advice on eating and parking. Will go again! A+++

“A home with history, we enjoyed it”

We really enjoyed the townhouse; it is a carefully remodeled three story old home, with a modern kitchen and baths. The house shows its history in stone steps worn by hundreds of years of use and walls and timbers a little askew. It was very comfortable, a lived in home, we settled right in, soaking up history. Just make sure your knees love stairs. We were met by Nadine; she gave us a tour of the townhouse and explained how to use everything, no problem with language. And parking was not a problem, Nadine showed us where to park. Tarascon is a great city for wandering around the medieval streets; we found several good restaurants and a street market that had everything. And, it is a good central location for exploring Provence.
