Description
“Casa do Alpendre” is located just 20 minutes from the beach of Fuseta, on the outskirts of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, a small village in the municipality of Tavira.
In a region often referred to as one of the Algarve's best kept secrets, the property is located in a green valley, near a brook, providing an ever quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Yet only fifteen minutes drive from the larger resorts such as Tavira and Olhão, the place has easy access to all amenities, including a local market in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, for bargain hunting, and many good restaurants for eating out.
The cottage benefits from its own private relaxing pool, with deckchairs and shades, in a spacious terrace with bright night sky views (thanks to zero luminous pollution) surrounded by the beautiful Algarvian hills. Also in the terrace is a lounging area with teak armchairs and a table for 4, enabling you to enjoy your meals al fresco.
Leading in through the living room, furnished with table and chairs in the kitchen area, fully equiped with refrigerator and freezer, microwave oven, pyrolitic oven and ceramic hob, we find a rest area with a large sofa, a log fire and an LCD with cable TV.
Having two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, both with shower, the place is ideal for couples seeking peaceful getaways, yet having plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, during your stay.
