Large renovated country house with 4 spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, 2 kitchens & 2 dining rooms. View of the Serra da Estrela. Terraces and patio with views of the forests & mountains. In the middle of the Dão wine region, in nature on 1 hectare of private land. Shops, amenities and restaurants are within 5 kilometers away.Private swimming pool (12 mx 4 m), salt water, with sun terrace and outdoor shower. The accommodation is open all year round and has mosquito nets and air conditioning (heating / cooling). Lugar do Pégo is located in the middle of the Dão wine region, with vineyards and wineries 'around the corner' and adjacent to the ecopista - a 49 km cycle path without any motorized traffic. Mountain bikes can be rented on request in advance. The Dinha River is just 300 meters away and is clearly audible with its waterfalls. Further along the Dinha and the Dão River there are river beaches where you can swim. Viseu is 21 km from Lugar do Pego and can be reached by bike via the ecopista. Coimbra is only 69 km away. Free WiFi throughout the complex. Towels and bed linen are provided. There is free parking on site. Lugar do Pégo is also interesting gastronomically: a renowned authentic Portuguese restaurant with Bib Gourmand (Très Pipos) is a few kilometers away, and the Quinta de Cabriz, just 15 kilometers away, is also renowned for its wines, and just under 20 kilometers away is the beautiful Quinta (Mesa) de Lemos. Along the ecopista there are various food and beverage outlets. The very spacious country house has been renovated to contemporary standards and furnished for comfort and quality. Bicycles for rent in consultation. Things worth knowing In the main house there is another (very spacious) bedroom and bathroom. These can also be rented on request (not included in the price) so that the country house is suitable for 11 people. Given the height differences on the quinta and the terraces that are not all fenced, this accommodation may be less suitable for young children.

Lugar do Pego is non-smoking. Pets are not welcome. No parties, no visitors. Given the differences in height on the quinta and the terraces & the swimming pool that are not all fenced, the holiday home may be less suitable for young children. Swimming and entering the pool is entirely at your own risk. We recommend that all tenants have a swimming diploma.
