New addition to Ubud countryside, Swallow Guesthouse's new ECO Wooden Garden Villa, next to the original two suites, provides a relaxing 1.5 bedroom home with den and plenty of relaxing daybeds. Its hand-made with recycled material full of wooden character with artistic design.
Free WIFI and swimming pool.
Self-cater or order healthy home cooked meals. Swim in garden pool (shared by other guests) or walk the rice field and local village.
Suitable for writers, artists, or people who want a longer term place to create and relax in the peace and quiet of Bali, spacious Swallow suites are furnished with hand-crafted antique teak furnishings and fixtures supporting local artists. Don't feed the dog from the table. Please ask Wayan or Putri where you can feed him. Pancos is a very obinient dog who loves attention and will take you for village and rice field walks.

Wayan, the owner, has built and decorated the two apartments with taste and generosity, with the evident intention to receive well. He, his family and his employees are like Balinese: caring, smiling and caring. My discussions with Wayan taught me a lot about life in Bali and its traditions, but also information on the different options of discoveries around. Here is a dive into the picturesque and "false" calm of a rice and farmer's daily to observe. A bubble of pure air near a Ubud in Westernization. Response from the owner TRANSLATED: Everything that Bali evoked we found it at Swallow Guest House: the tranquility surrounded by rice fields, the luxuriant nature of flowers surrounding an inviting pool, the cool, clean rooms decorated with typical Indonesian decorated furniture. Wayan and Putri were simply delicious and very hospitable. Putri is an excellent cook, I highly recommend to try at least one of his dinner. Wayan is a fantastic guide that has opened the doors of Balinese culture. One of those places you would not want to leave to which you can not help but come back.
