Description
Old barn located across the street from Poggibonsi to San Gimignano. The property is part of a typical Tuscan Hamlet of houses, but is completely independent of the complex and has a lovely view over the countryside and the towers of San Gimignano. Great care has been used to preserve the original character, there are Windows with brick grids in both rooms, terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings and brick arches, typical of rural Tuscan architecture. Il casale is just minutes from San Gimignano, its proximity to the main road allows you to easily reach the nearby Volterra and other art cities such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Arezzo. Internally the House is on two floors and an attic. The main entrance is on the ground floor from which you can access directly to the living/dining room with fireplace. At this floor you will also find a kitchen with pantry, laundry room and a bathroom. From here, via a staircase of travertine we reach the first floor where there is a sleeping area with two double bedrooms. One of the two bedrooms has a large terrace have direct access to the garden. At this floor there are two single bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and two attached bathrooms that share a bath.
From this plan an iron spiral staircase leads to a loft with sofa. The villa is surrounded by a garden of about 850 sqm that spans two levels, one surrounds the whole House and the other, on which was built the pool, is reachable through a staircase. The garden, cultivated mainly in lawn is well edited and enriched with rose bushes and bushes of all kinds. Are the entire Crown tall trees and Oaks. Outside the dining area/kitchen there is an area equipped with barbecue and a nice table, perfect for outdoor lunches and dinners. The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. The pool area is about 50 yards from the House and is reached by a wooden staircase. The pool has a rectangular shape and measures 10 x 5 m with a depth from 1.20 to 2.10 m. The tub has the edge and PVC coating, the entrance into the water via ladder. The solarium area paved in brick, and surrounded by lawns, is equipped with loungers, table and chairs and Sun umbrella. Next to the pool you will find the outdoor shower with cold water. Finally, the property lies halfway between San Gimignano ' city of the beautiful towers ' and Colle di Val d'Elsa ' city of glass ', but also close to the beautiful cities of Florence and Siena and many other interesting places to visit, like Chianti, Volterra, Pisa and Arezzo Montalcino (to name only the most well-known). The property is just a few kilometres from the town of Poggibonsi, a small town where you can find everything you need to make your holiday even more comfortable: supermarkets, shopping centers, pharmacies, hospital, shops, post offices and banks.
