Ancient watermill restored and adapted to lodging. On the banks of river Ave,surrounded by river beaches. House with plenty of privacy and very quiet.
Situated in the foothills of the Serra da Cabreira and near Portugal's National Park: Gerês.
Includes fully-equipped kitchen, two rooms (one with two single-beds, the other with one individual bed). The living room has a day-bed for two persons.

Moinho na margem do rio Ave, límpido, com praias fluviais e muito sossego e privacidade. Situado no sopé da Serra da Cabreira, junto à albufeira do Ermal, e muito próximo do Gerês.
Inclui cozinha equipada, dois quartos (um com duas camas de solteiro e o outro com uma cama individual) e sala com sofá-cama para duas pessoas.

Permita-me que esclareça alguns pontos: - O procedimento para a entrega das chaves correu bem. Não percebemos a sua insatisfação, já que foi como acordado no momento do check-in. Recebemos uma chamada do seu companheiro, indicando que tinham saído e deixado as chaves da casa como combinado – agradecemos a amabilidade da chamada. Não recebemos qualquer mensagem escrita: teríamos respondido como respondemos a todas as suas perguntas e pedidos de informação. Lamentamos que não reconheça a ajuda que fornecemos no planeamento da vossa viagem, nomeadamente na entrega pessoalmente no moinho de uma encomenda vossa. - Estivemos muito tempo à vossa espera, no moinho. Quando nos apercebemos do atraso entrámos em contacto convosco para o número de telefone indicado na vossa reserva, sem que nunca tenham atendido. Enviámos, também, uma mensagem pelo sistema do Tripadvisor, perguntando se necessitavam de algum auxílio. Visto que eu estava há muitas horas à espera com o meu filho mais novo, ausentei-me do moinho para ir almoçar. Quando recebemos a vossa chamada regressamos imediatamente. - É possível estacionar o carro a 250 metros do moinho, junto à pequena praia fluvial gerida pela Câmara Municipal, com total segurança. Afirmar que a alternativa seria estragar o carro ou cair ao rio é, no mínimo, um exagero. - A cama da sala é, de facto, um sofá-cama, como está anunciado e é visível nas fotografias; - Lamentamos a sua referência a uma «invasão» de moscas e mosquitos, porque simplesmente não é verdade. Aliás, menciona esse facto colocando-o como hipótese, mas deixando a dúvida no ar. Note que nenhum dos anteriores hóspedes o menciona. O moinho está num meio rural em plena natureza, é natural que tenha alguns insetos no seu entorno. - O moinho é uma casa construída em pedra, junto a um rio e no fundo de um vale: no verão é naturalmente fresca. No entanto, se sentiram algum desconforto poderiam sempre ter-nos contactado. Procuraríamos em conjunto uma solução. Os comentários são muito importantes para nós, porque nos ajudam a encontrar pontos a melhorar. Todos são bem-vindos. Não podemos, contudo, aceitar mentiras ou meias-verdades. Ana
