At the heart of Santa Maria, just about 2 km from Praia Formosa, “Casa de Almagreira” is the result of an intensive creative process focused on detail.

The House provides a high comfort standard and as been thought as a base-haven to explore all the experiences Santa Maria has to offer.

There are 3 bedrooms on the house (two with couple size beds and one with two single beds) allowing 6 adults. There is also a cradle for children up to 4 years old and an independent room equipped with a sofa bed allowing two adults.

Fully refurbished from the its bare foundations, the House is equipped with all the features needed to be fully operational, including fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms and shower rooms, as well clothing care. Most of its furniture as been designed exclusively, including beds, tables, sofas, lamps and linen resulting on a unique feel when experiencing the stay.

Outer spaces have teak furniture allowing the enjoyment of the sun, reading a book, while relaxing on the stillness of the surroundings.

There is a large BBQ with a support work area to allow outer meals. All around the house, the gardens present the multitude of the Island native plants.

There are kayaks, bicycles and snorkelling gear, as well as lead belts for scuba, as a support to some of the experiences one can have while in Santa Maria.
Local operators will be able to provide you all the experiences that will remain as a high from your stay, namely, traditional shore pole fishing with a bamboo cane, sailing, windsurfing, boat trips, scuba diving, or experience fishing from a boat or underwater spear fishing. Santa Maria has several hiking trails and many geoplaces to be unveiled.
