Description

Walnut Cottage was originally built in the 16th century but has been lovingly restored to combine a high standard of modern comfort with traditional stonework and a dramatic granite fireplace which provides for a cosy winter fire and makes the cottage available all year round. The mezzanine double bedroom overlooks the open plan living area with lounge, dining room and modern kitchen facilities.

Surrounded by 5 acres of land there are plenty of picnic areas, patio furniture for picnics or a bottle of wine in the sunshine and of course, lots of off-road parking.

The kitchen is well equipped with a hob, small oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The shower room is on the ground floor, it has a built in wash basin with vanity unit, large mirror and a WC.

There is a stone table and chairs to the side of the Gite that used to be a Cider Press Wheel and a private seating area for your sole use.

WiFi, Flat Screen TV, (French and English) Free Sat HD Box, DVD player and a selection of DVDs are available to provide all the comforts of home away from home and a child's cot can be provided on request.

The cottage is at the end of a quiet road surrounded by 5 acres of fields with three large walnut trees. The garden has recently had many new plants and bushes added so should be a blaze of color by Spring.

How do damage deposits work?

If Julie & Nigel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
