Description

Meadow Cottage is a delightfully renovated two bedroom cottage close to RSPB's Minsmere bird reserve. The cottage is located in the picturesque village of Eastbridge. The large garden at the rear of the property has stunning views across the Minsmere marshes. You can watch the Barn Owls and Marsh Harriers as you eat breakfast in the sunny kitchen/diner.

Meadow cottage caters for up to four people in one double bedroom and a twin. It can be booked with the adjacent Minsmere Cottage to accommodate parties of up to eight people. Well behave dogs are welcome.

The cottages have been sensitively restored, retaining their original character but at the same time providing modern day comforts including central heating, an upstairs bathroom, a wetroom downstairs, free WI-FI and satellite TV. The cosy lounge has a log burner - a supply of free logs can be found in the garden shed. The kitchen diner has stunning views across the Minsmere meadows and comes extremely well equipped with an electric fan oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/drier, dishwasher etc.

Meadow Cottage is ideal for birdwatchers all year round and is also perfect for families looking for a relaxing summer holiday or a short break. The Suffolk coast and countryside is also ideal for cycling.

Our stay at Meadow Cottage was truly lovely. Cozy and warm,very well equipped. Definitely to be recommended for peace and quiet, great walks on the door stop.

How do damage deposits work?

If Liz and Simon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
