Description

PEACE AND TRANQUILITY, thats what you will experience if you book a stay at Owls Nest .In fact many of our guests comment on the beautiful idilic location as soon as they arrive. This first floor accommodation is accessible via an external wooden staircase. The accommodation sleeps 2 people and has a bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with bath and shower, and a kitchen/lounge dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped including a built in fridge with ice box, washing machine, electric hob, and combi microwave. There is a breakfast bar with bar stools. The lounge dining room has a dining table and chairs a sofa and armchair with foot stool and built in cupboards. There is TV/ DVD, internet access and oil fired central heating in the property.

EV charger available on request and charged for actual amount used.

The property benefits from lovely views to the back and front and has a light and airy feel with a large window in the main living area.

There is a secluded outside seating area and plenty of available parking. Pets are welcome but must be able to climb stairs as the property is on the first floor. Also any pets must be able to get along with other dogs, cats and horses.

The barn enjoys a very quiet rural location with 17 acres of land encompassing the property and acres of farmland surrounding its boundaries which can be explored on one of the many public footpaths. The local landscape is mostly made up of various arable crops along with the odd field of sheep.

Quiet single track lanes lead to the nearest village of Charsfield about 1.5 miles away where there is a pub, petrol station, church and recreation ground with a tennis court. The nearest shop and post office is located in the village of Otley about 10 minutes drive away or alternatively at Wickham Market also a 10 minute drive where there are shops and amenities including Chinese & Indian restaurants and a fish & chip shop.

The Suffolk Heritage Coast has many lovely towns and villages to visit including Southwold, Aldeburgh and Orford, the later being about 15 miles from the farm. Forest walks are close by in the forests of Tunstall, Rendlesham and Dunwich.

If CLARE (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
