A detached waterside property just off the main River Bure, this modern comfortably furnished home makes a perfect year round retreat offering all home comforts. Use of rowing dinghy. Brightside enjoys a delightful waterside position, with a private mooring and its rowing boat, with room to moor a day launch for guests. A detached chalet property, providing ideal holiday accommodation for any time of the year. A lawned garden leads to the river’s edge and the mooring. The enclosed garden is the perfect location for relaxation and fishing is literally on the doorstep (seasonal and licenced).

The property is situated just minutes from the heart of Wroxham which is known as the Capital of the Broads, with its waterside restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. Sailing, walking, nature trails, bicycle hire and golf are available locally. The coast with its sandy beaches is only 12 miles and visitors can experience the delights of the attractive coastal villages. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich which is only 8 miles away with its cathedrals, museums, theatre and vast array of cafes and shops. National Trust properties well worth visiting are Felbrigg hall and Blickling Hall. Shops and pubs 800 meters.

“Short stay”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at brightside, facilities were great,very comfortable, clean and we didn't want for anything. My mum loved the spacious down stairs bathroom with walk in shower, it was perfect for her. The dinghy was used every day. We also used the BBQ and relaxed in the garden. Having a supermarket, McDonald's and takeaways within walking distance was very handy and only a 20 minute drive to the coast every was happy. Thank you

Great for big families or large group of friends. Clean rooms and bathrooms and really sociable living room. Lovely garden was a perfect seating area and a view onto the water.

“Great place to stay”

There is little to keep this from 5 stars. This is a lovely property, good size bedrooms with very comfy beds. Well equipped, 3 bathrooms (1 as e-suite). We had a great long weekend here. If I was to nit pick...? Well, some salt & pepper would be useful as its not something I'd tend to remember to bring. We met Paul who was very quick to resolve an issue that cropped up, very friendly & helpful. All in all, really happy to recommend to others.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
