“A superb location for country lovers” A spacious, well appointed and well located cottage set in the Lune valley. Walk just a few yards down the road and you can see the Howgill Fells and the river Lune. Although located with a few other cottages it feels private, and the owners were very helpful and welcoming. We had a memorable holiday and would certainly consider staying again. Kirkby Lonsdale (a few miles away) has a good local supermarket and plenty of pubs/restaurants.

Without hesitation would stay in this lovely cottage again. Adjacent to other cottages but with its own entrance you were unaffected by the other guests. Beautifully decorated with good quality furnishings and wood burner, we felt 'embraced' by this house! It was a much needed weekend escape after the death of my Mother in law and so as a family just needed a relaxed and quiet time away. The dog was happy with walks along the lane next to the house and trips in the car to the Lakes too. Have discussed returning there for a 'girls escape weekend'!
