This condo has been fully remodeled and it is beautiful. All guest that stay here having nothing but the best to say about the condo and I have many repeat guest. For the money it is one of the best values in Cabo San Lucas. Besides being a great value it's location cannot be beat. You are next to the world famous Medano Beach and only 2 minutes walking to shopping, restaurants, marina and many other activities. No need to take a taxi's once you arrive.

Marina Sol is the ultimate place to stay on the Baja... it's close to everything (walking distance) to restaurants, downtown & the marina. The rooms are beautiful and the pool with palapa bar & restaurant were wonderful for breakfast and an afternoon dip & margarita.
If you are visiting Cabo... this is the Place!

I recently rented a beautiful penthouse in Marina Sol Condominums. Baja Jimmy was extremely accomodating and such a wonderful person. All of the staff at Marina Sol were super friendly as well. The restaurant in the courtyard was excellent. The largest heated pool in Cabo was very refreshing (or was it the 2 for 1 drinks?!). This place was very close to Medano beach, close to shopping and close to the marina. I would definiately go back and stay at the very same place!

My g/f and I were heading to Baja to visit another g/f who has recently moved there. We looked for somewhere unique to stay as opposed to an all-inclusive - we're travellers, not tourists.
We found the Penthouse on Vrbo, and from there, drilled it down to Baja Jimmy's personal page. I emailed Jimmy numerous times, and always received prompt and helpful responses. We chose the Penthouse due to the hot tub on the balcony - and we put that to daily use.
Jimmy met us at the Lobby of the resort and took us up to the Penthouse. It was absolutely spotless and welcoming. He explained how the hot tub, wifi, fans and TV worked and we were set.
The Penthouse was fabulous - 3200 sq. feet of beautiful marble floors with the marble floating staircase showcasing the suite. There's a new washer/dryer, microwave, stove and fridge in the suite. The fridge was awesome giving out cubed or crushed ice, and clear fresh cold water.
The seven-headed shower in the downstairs bathroom was an excellent way to start the day - and there's no skimping on towels. The towels that are provided are big soft bath towels - not hard smaller white towels like in a lot of resorts/hotels. Nice attention to detail Jimmy!
There are lots of books to choose from if you just want to relax by the pool at the resort. The pool is Cabo's largest heated pool, is kept in pristine condition, and you can swim up to the bar for your drinks which they'll deliver to you in your lounge chairs.
The staff at the resort are amazing - Raul and his dances, Bernice and her incredible memory for your favourite meals or drinks, Sophia with her welcoming smile, and all the rest. The food at the palapa is delicious - everything we had was fantastic, and they have theme nights too - all you can eat steak/lobster on Thursday or all you can eat prime-rib on Fridays for $19.95 USD.

This is our first stay in this suite but 5th stay at Marina Sol. Loved this suite, very well kept, very comfortable beds, very comfortable, and very updated.
Thanks jimmie for making our stay such a comfortable and relaxed with a homey feel. Like it so much my daughter and I are returning in april to attend a wedding and I didn't even look else where, just coming right back to this condo -

This was our second stay at this condo and we will definitely be back. Both times we.have stayed at the end of September. The large pool during this time of year is fairly quiet with the only downside being childrens' parties being held at the pool on the weekends. We avoid the pool during these times when the kids tend to overrun the pool.
The oasis grill at the pool has great food, is extremely convenient with daily specials and a fantastic happy hour as well as a great staff.
Jimmy is a great host and we look forward to our next stay!!

Stayed in Unit 503a, which is described as a 2B/2B unit.
The Marina Sol grounds are quite dated, like something from the 60s on the outside and mostly on the inside. Nice Pool area.
The only criticism I have - which is kinda big - is that the room descriptions are misleading on tripadvisor. The room we rented is described on here (and also on the owner's website) as 2Bed2bath condo. When I got to the room, I noticed that there was only one private bed/bath area. The other bed and bathroom area was basically just directly behind the living room area with no separation between the two spaces. That makes a big difference in terms of privacy, especially when its you, your spouse, your mom and your toddler. From the living room couches, you can basically see the person showering, sleeping or doing whatever in the area where the second bedroom and bath are situated. So its not a condo unit where you have two sectioned-off bedroom/bath areas that are detached from the living room and kitchen area. I would really describe the unit I stayed in moreso as a converted 2B/2B unit. That also explains what only certain pictures of the unit are shown on this site and the owner's website. If you see enough pictures, you will realize that the unit is not really a traditional 2B/2B separated unit. So whenever I or my partner needed to get dressed or shower, I basically had to ask my mom to go to her bedroom area or the kitchen area.
The beds were old, but they slept great. The air conditioners were great, but very loud.
Overall, I was happy with Marina Sol. Would not stay there again with a family, at least not in the unit 503a. In every other regard, the place was great. -

We recently returned from vacationing in Cabo San Lucas and had a wonderful time! Jimmy's condo was exceptionally clean with a gorgeous view from the balcony! The condo is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown, the marina, and the beach.
Thank you, Jimmy, for picking us up and dropping us off at the airport! We hope to visit again in the future!!

I came to Cabo with a friend and my 18 yr old daughter. The condo was perfect for us! Having 2 rooms and bathrooms was a bonus! The beds were big and extremely comfortable. Jimmy was an amazing host and the pick up & drop off at the airport was so easy. The location of this condo couldn't be better. We were within walking distance to everything! Me Cabo was next door with a "club" at the pool. The beach was a half a block away. We walked to the bars every night and always felt safe. Lorenzo and Raul were so helpful and set up our excursions for us with no problems. The pool at Marina Del Sol is quiet and big, great for swimming laps. I will stay here everytime I come to Cabo and will definitely recommend this condo to friends. It was perfect and Jimmy and the staff made us feel like family.

I'm lucky enough to travel to Cabo at least 4 or 5 times a year and I stay in Marina Sol every time and in this condo as often as I can (when it's available). The condo is stunning (very well might be the nicest on the property) - beautifully furnished and the beds are so cozy (big plus). The property itself is relatively quiet and after a few days you truly feel like you're part of the family at Marina Sol - you'll get to know everyone by name which makes your visit that much more pleasant. And, location, location, location - I couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Cabo...Marina Sol is in such an ideal spot...it's only a 5 minute walk from the beach (spots like Mango Deck, Billigans, The Office etc...), a block from the marina & a short walk from the nightlife - everything that you'd want to do in Cabo San Lucas is within walking distance, there is never any need to take a taxi (unless of course you decide to venture into San Juan Del Cabo). Stay here and you won't be disappointed :)

I had to scramble to find a place to stay at the last minute after my previous arrangements fell through. It was the best thing that could have happened to me as I had a amazing vacation. Jimmy the owner of this condo was great to work with as he even picked me up from the airport. This condo is in the middle of everything. If I would have stayed in my first place it would have been a 10 min cab just to get down the hill. Marina Sol is 5 minutes from anything you want to do. Jimmy did a great job of opening up this condo so you don't feel cramped inside. Two separate sleeping rooms and bathrooms were the key things I looked for because I did not want to be staring at my buddy while I slept like I would have in a normal hotel room. The pool was huge and actually had a bar and grill that served great food and drinks till 10pm 6 nights a week. If you wanted lunch or dinner on the beach it is just a couple blocks away or head downtown a couple blocks for the nightlife. This condo is all about location and comfort. I will not hesitate my next visit to Cabo to give Jimmy a call. He was a great resource as well if you were looking for recommendations for food or nightlife. My best time was actually having a couple of dinners with Jimmy as he introduced me to some great people down there. I liked Marina Sol so much I have property info in front of me since I am considering buying there.

This place is very nice and very comfortable. Jimmy is a great host and if you need anything that is not in the condo he will make sure he gets it for you. We will definetly stay here again.
