Wonderful

First time, in the winter with friends. All had a great time. Scuba with the sea lions was unforgettable. Fishing great, staff great, sunset can not be described. Second time, July,all grandkids over 2.My husbands 60th birthday. Rented all three properties. Kids all learned to snorkel, or dive. Three generation went diving and fishing together. Most beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed vacation rental we've ever stayed in

We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals all over the world. It is our preferred mode of lodging whenever we travel. Many of the places we have stayed have been very nice but even with nice places, we usually leave thinking "That was nice, but it didn't matter so much because we were out all day doing stuff. All we really need is a conveniently located, clean place to sleep." This house was really different. Set into the beautiful southern Baja desert and actually incorporating mature cardon cactuses, some of them centuries old, into the interior patio of the house itself, this place is so much more beautiful and comfortable than the listing conveys. Cooking in the kitchen, eating in the indoor/outdoor patio, waking up in the morning completely immersed in birdsong, and perhaps especially, spending blissfully quiet desert evenings in the upstairs palapa deck watching the moon rise over the desert all became daily rituals for us and are highlights of our whole trip to the East Cape. When I think back to this trip, out of all the very many magical moments, I will always especially remember this house and the time we spent there. Cheryl is an added bonus, as she actually lives for much of the year in a separate house located in the same compound. The mature and beautiful desert landscaping in between the two houses doesn't come across much in this listing but running into Cheryl there and spending a few minutes talking to her as we came and went every day was a treat. Even with the best of experiences we don't often say "we'll be back." There are just too many wonderful places in the world to go, and so many other wonderful places to stay. This house was an experience I'd really love to have again. I do definitely think that you would want to rent the whole house, both the upper and lower portions, to get the full experience. … see more

Outstanding rental, well equipped

I came to Cabo Pulmo with 4 generations, great-grandma, her kids, their kids, and their little ones. EL NIDO was just perfect for us with a queen bedroom and bath, 4 twin bedroom and bath, plus 2 double futon sofas in the living room. Internet and satellite TV was provided along with an amazing selection of ocean toys, like snorkel gear, kayaks, standup paddle boards, beach chairs, and lots more. We were impressed with how well equipped the home was and how attentive the full-time staff at Baja Paradise was to all of our family. They made our beds everyday, washed our dishes and swept up, making it a true vacation for the moms. The rate was so reasonable for so many guests. Best part was being so close to the beach, just 60 paces. And 360-degree views from the vista deck. Baja Paradise villas are the best located, best equipped and best value for what you get in all of Cabo Pulmo. Don't hessitate to book at Baja Paradise. … see more
