“We only stay at Casa Chilicote when we visit Todos Santos” We have been traveling to Todos Santos for over twenty years. Since the Hotelito and Casa Chilicote opened in 2007, we won't stay anywhere else. Jenny and her staff are always available for anything we may need. Jenny has impeccable taste, as noted throughout the house, 4 casitas, and pool area. The kids love walking down to the beach and feeding the baby goats and horses along the way. Also it's very quiet, away from the noise in town. We love visiting.

“My "goto" place in Baja!” I've stayed many times at the Iguana, but it only took once to call it my home away from home! Brenda and Lee are just the perfect hosts never too curious, never too shy, always making you feel at home. The room is great (I was surprised the first time as since it's on the roof it has the nicest views, who would leave that to their guests?!) and clean with a nice breeze going through when you open all windows. The deck is perfect for star glazers like me, always enjoy a drink there in the warmth of Baja California nights. My main reason for travelling to Baja is surf the Iguana,it is next to La pastora which is a nice right point (you'll need a car to get there though), but if the Pacific doesn't bless you with some swell go with Lee for fishing or wale watching, nice time and fantastic stories of the Ocean guaranteed, as to fishes well I have yet to see Lee coming back with the ice chest empty from a fishing trip!

“This was an amazing find.” Loved everything about this place and the owners. We stayed in December and had a lovely time. Every detail was attended to. It was more than comfortable, very tastefully decorated, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, reasonably priced and a wonderful location. Without question, if we return to Todos Santos this would be our choice rental.

“Luxurious Serenity” My husband & I stayed here for 4 nights in late February. We were met by Julie on the highway and led down the road to this amazing home on the beach that was to be all ours for the next 4 nights! We walked in to the sound of crashing waves and the reflection of moonlight on the surf, breaching whales and were enchanted. We rented the Casita which is an open concept livingroom, bedroom, bathroom and deck on the second story of this home. We met Bogie, who was to be my beach companion for the trip, settled in and were served an amazing dinner with wine on our deck. It was splendid. The casita is classy, comfortable, clean and modern. There is wi-fi, satellite tv, games, books, toiletries, beach towels, coffee maker, bar fridge, beach chairs, cooler, sun umbrella - everything you need. There is a/C but it was unseasonably chilly this visit so we never used it. The Casita feels much bigger than it is as the windows are huge and bright. I wish there were cooking facilities in the Casita as this location demands you drive somewhere to eat. I also wish there was a door on the bathroom instead of the weighted curtain - just for a little privacy while on a romantic holiday. What you need to know: - You must rent a car ... we rented from Dominic which we highly highly recommend..cash deal, no contracts, no waiting at the airport ... perfect! dominicloscabos.com - Bring warm clothes for night - You cannot swim off this beach but walk 20 mins North, there is a surfing area or drive over the beachside rd (fascinating) South to Cerritos Beach - Take Bogie with you on your walk - I fell in love with that dog - Have a beach fire one night - Have Coffee at Baja Beans and dinner at & less than an hour to Cabo. - You are 90 mins or less from the airport - Ask Julie for recommendations, she's a wealth of information We loved this place! Later that week we stayed in Cabo at a B&B; and then in San Jose at the Westin...we wished we were at Casablanca

Casa Las Olas Todos Santos

Todos Santos house

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“Todos Time” Casa Los Olas was all that the property owners said it was...and more. By "Todos Time", I mean that upon arrival, time no longer mattered. I woke with the sun and the sound of surf. I ran on deserted white sand with only cobalt blue water by my side. I traipsed into town on a bike I rented in town and scoured the streets for fresh fruit and local delights. The town is a haven for art and food lovers and one can find music and events just about every day of the week. I, however, loved the solace and peaceful surrounding that Casa Las Olas offered. Whether I cooked in the beautiful, perfectly equipped kitchen, lounged on the rooftop deck or strolled down to the beach at sunset, I was perfectly content. The only problem was that my visit was too short so I must return. I am missing Casa Los Olas and my busy life is yearning for Todos Time!

7BR Beachfront/ Surf Break/Pool & Jacuzzi!

Todos Santos villa

7 bedrooms / 8 bathrooms / sleeps 18

“Can't get closer to the beach without being in the ocean!” This place is lovely; super comfy bed, awesome equipped kitchen with marble countertops; the pool has a perfect temp all the time and the jacuzzi was great, too. There are views all around -- from both bedrooms and the roof. The beach is only a few steps out the door and there's nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Rob is a great host. I was able to work on line while I was there as needed with no problems. Great amenities at a removed, private villa makes a great Pescadero get-away!

About Todos Santos

Located on the golden coast of Mexico's Baja California region, the town of Todos Santos beckons explorers, artists, and dreamers from all over the world. Todos Santos offers the perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. No matter what time of year you plan your visit or how long you intend to stay, you'll find beautiful weather and a warm welcome here. You'll also find plenty of fun and exciting things to do. Instead of staying in a cramped hotel room, book your own luxury condo overlooking the beach. Enjoy breakfast on your vacation rental's balcony as the sun rises over the mountains, then leave your home away from home and start the day's adventures.

Spend your days here strolling the downtown side streets and colorful markets of Todos Santos. Explore the shopping areas, Todos Santos' art galleries, and quaint craft shops. Then head for the beach to go swimming, snorkeling, diving, or just relax on the sand with a good book. After the sun sets, head downtown for world-class seafood restaurants, live music, and the buzzing energy of Todos Santos nightlife. Or, head home to your vacation rental and host your family and friends for a barbeque on your private deck or a campfire on the beach.

Here are a few additional suggestions for your trip:

  • Visit the Museo de la Casa de Cultura: This local museum with rotating exhibits is a great place to learn more about the history and culture of northern Mexico.
  • Visit El Molino: Once a sugar refinery, this building has now been converted into a historic monument showcasing relics from an earlier time.
  • Go kayaking: Rent a sea kayak and explore Punta Lobos, an interesting geological promontory named for the colony of sea lions that live just south of the point.
  • Explore Todos Santos art galleries: The Galeria Logan and Galeria de Todos Santos are two of the best known galleries featuring the work of prominent local artists and sculptors.
  • See a show: See a live performance at the Teatro Marquez de Leon, a local venue featuring regional music and dramatic productions.
  • Play on the beach: The Playa La Cachora and Palm Beach are two pristine, popular beaches that offer calm waves and a relaxing environment for families.

The best way to enjoy your trip to Todos Santos is by staying in your own private vacation rental. A condo in Baja California is often less expensive than a hotel and offers all the luxury amenities you need to relax, reconnect, and start making fun vacation memories. While you're visiting Todos Santos, be sure to explore other nearby destinations like Rosarito and Loreto.

Baja Beach Getaway, oceanfront with private pool
The Best of Our Baja Our adventures.

We were delighted with our time @ Baja Beach Getaway because it combined all of our favorite Baja experiences. The highlights were the beautiful, peaceful beaches where we shared the days with only pelicans and sand crabs. We loved mountain and desert views from our cozy "casita". Plus we explored nearby small towns, Pescadero and Todo Santos, "real Mexico" with superb dining spots. The pool area was an exclusive "oasis" setting waiting after each of our beach excursions. We enjoyed getting away from the crowded beaches and hectic hotel scene of Cabo. Our hosts, the Sheldon's were gracious and made our stay a comfortable, lay back experience. We recommend this unique escape for all Baja travelers.see more
Private Oceanfront Villa on the Pacific Coast
Perfect beach home

We stayed at this well appointed property for 5 nights and the location was perfect for an adult family get together. It is a well maintained home on the beach, perfect for whale watching, relaxing, and privately situated. We had one issue while we were there and the property manager was available immediately and resolved it right away. Overall, we would highly recommend this villla and would definitely visit again if we vacation in the Todos Santos area!see more
Casa Las Olas Todos Santos
First Time in Mexico

Having never visited Mexico before, we couldn't have picked a better place than Todos Santos to start and this home to stay! The town is warm and inviting and upon arriving we instantly felt like we were home, with the added bonus of warm weather and beautiful beaches! This home could not have been more perfect with the same warm, inviting and relaxed atmosphere and its prime location. The garden provided for both beauty and privacy with a great patio area for relaxing and gazing at the ocean. The beach was a nice 5 minute walk away and we never encountered more than 3 or 4 people during our entire 12 day stay (which was from January 15th until January 27th)! You can gaze for miles in both directions and the whales could be seen in the distance. The home was clean and offered everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. It was so nice to make lunch and then sit on the patio with a view of the ocean and the sound of the waves! The bathrooms were spacious and the showers were open-air, which was lovely. The beds were comfortable and we could hear the waves and crickets at night-beautiful! The owner was easy to deal with and helpful, he accurately represented the property on this site and I would definitely recommend this home to friends and already have! I am currently planning an extended stay! Have fun!!see more
West Wing Villa
Perfect Place to Unwind

La Hacienda was the perfect place to spend a few days "recovering" after travelling through Mexico for 3 weeks. We stayed in The West Wing and were delighted with it. The decor is beautiful and it's very comfortable. Loved the private patio (we ate breakfast there each morning) and I enjoyed lazing in the hammock at the end of the day. The location is wonderful, close to town but only a 10 minute walk to a beautiful, deserted beach. There are beach chairs and an umbrella at La Hacienda. Also a close walk to the grocery store and a La Esquina, a fabulous breakfast/lunch restaurant. Chuck and angie were friendly and very helpful - thanks for the restaurant recommendations and the delicious banana bread. Thank you both. We highly recommend La Hacienda for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.see more
Villa Casablanca rent 1 or up to 3 separate private Casitas
A hidden paradise

I recently traveled to the Baja with my girlfriend and stayed at Julie's top floor casita. She has an immaculate property. Well maintained, private, amazing ocean front views on a nearly 3-mile stretch of a beautiful and secluded beach. Julie is very helpful and accommodating. Our room came with beach towels, sunscreen, and other little things that people often forget to pack. Her backyard is well designed and private with access to the beach right outside. The upstairs casita has modern accommodations with a mix of traditional Mexican styling. You will feel like you quit your job and left it all behind. Unlike Cabo, her place, and the area of a Todos Santos/El Pescadero itself is the perfect place to get away and have a laid back, relaxing vacation. There's wifi access, dish network tv (if you're inclined) and the ability to cook food (grill or electric cooktop). Her property is secluded, safe and a short distance to Los Cerritos beach and the many great restaurants in both a Todos Santos and El Pescadero. The area is populated by locals, ex-pats, artists and farmers. Baja Beans, a local coffee place and market place is a frequent gathering place for Americans who've moved there. The area is approx a little over one hour drive from Cabo airport. If you plan to eat in, there's a market in Todos santos, but you may want to get something from a big super market in Cabo on the way. Many restaurants don't take credit cards in Todos Santos, so be prepared to pay with pesos. I've been to the Baja several times, but my experience at this place was by far my best. Hacienda los olivos
A truly gorgeous home in truly gorgeous part of the world

The beauty of Todos Santos and the Hacienda los Olivos is very deep. The excess of it takes a couple of days to really sink in. And once it clicks, then, very blissful moments begin. The house is very carefully designed to it's smallest details. The general layout of the house forces you to constantly interact with the surroundings. They compliment each other perfectly and bring the best out of each other. Outdoor showers, outdoor walkways, large terraces overlooking the landscape.... And then the smaller things like bathroom tiles, beautiful lighting throughout, kitchenware, decorations... Then of course, the actual landscape of Todos Santos and Baja California. Where the desert meets the ocean....incredible! Yet, the small circle of Todos Santos is actually an oasis and therefore you also get the very green vegetation. The village is wonderful too. A lovely place to go for a walk, have ice cream, have a nice dinner... And yet, not obnoxious at all despite it's many restaurants and boutiques. On the contrary, it all seems to come together very well and a very interesting balance is created between remoteness and accessibility. This is certainly one of the most beautiful places I've been to and will surely return.see more
