New for 2022: New decking on the top-level, updated screened porch on third-level, new furniture in mid-level queen master bedroom, new furniture in top-level king master bedroom.
New for 2021: New flooring on the entire ground-level, new carpet on all stairways, and all new furniture and flooring on the 4th floor.
"Pelican's Perch" is a great home away from home for you and your family! You will find panoramic ocean views from this ‘Pelican's Perch' in Ocean Lakes, Corolla. Unobstructed views across undeveloped dunes and just a short distance to the beach make this the vacation destination for you and your family! The ground level offers a rec room with a foosball table, a wet bar, and an entertainment area for kids to watch movies. Plenty of seating in the Great Room and a kitchen that is convenient for the chefs to prepare meals together. The large dining table has ample seating for family meals. There is plenty of decking to relax on and enjoy that view. You can take a swim in your own private pool or relax in the hot tub. Read a book on the loft deck or play games in the loft while savoring the incredible ocean view. There are LCD TVs in every bedroom, the rec room, and a great room. There is a basketball hoop, or the Community pool and tennis courts are just down the block for you! The quiet neighborhood is great for biking and walking and there is even a lake for fishing. You will find amazing shopping, restaurants, activities for children, movies, groceries, fresh seafood, and more in just a two-minute drive.

Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

We know a number of guests like you had already made arrangements to stay in Hatteras, but had to change your plans at the last minute. We are glad to have accommodated you and your group, and it was not our intent to disappoint you. We didn't realize there was any issue with the stove being rusted or dirty. This will be rectified, and by the way please let us know right away in the future of problems like this so we can correct them immediately. We will pass your suggestions along to the owner of the property so they will know some of the things you think need to be added. I'm sure your suggestions will be taken to heart. The unfortunate fact is that things do happen to these rental houses during folks' stay and we respond to them as soon and as professionally as possible. We are a bit confusted about the mention of the pool light being broken because that was actually something that happened during your stay (someone was evidently trying to ride a piece of plywood in the pool and it smashed into the light, thus breaking it) and we rectified it without question or charge to you or your guests. The other issues you pointed out we of course corrected promptly as wel. This is a wonderful property and we are glad that your group had a good stay this year. Here's hoping for a less eventful stay next time you are with us.
