Holiday home Casa del Ponte, relax and tranquillity under the tuscan sun.

Have you ever experienced the feeling of coming home and find yourself in a cozy and comfortable ambient in the tranquility of a small and peaceful village, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and colors typical of an ancient land? This is Casa del Ponte.

Positioned in a convenient strategic location just 7 minutes far from Figline Valdarno with its supermarkets and shops and outlets such as the famous "The Mall" and a 13 minute drive from Greve in Chianti and the stunning hills of the most famous countryside in the world, our house offers everything you could ask for an holiday of wellness and relax.

In about 25 minutes using the motorway you can reach Florence, in just over 40 you can get to the wonderful city of Siena.

In the area you can find several attractions such as Camping Girasole with swimming pools and other activities, the horse riding Old Texas and many popular restaurants for every price range. The village of Ponte agli Stolli has a minimarket with local gastronomic specialities and a very good restaurant with bar included.

If you want to take a walk in the "wild side" there are many paths through our woods and a river near the house made with natural pools carved in the rock in wich you can also swim during the summer time.

Our house is built on three floors.

The third floor is equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony where you can admire the old part of our village and the valley below during a breakfast or a romantic dinner.

At the second floor there's the entrance with a large kitchen and a bedroom with twin beds.

At the first floor you'll find a very enchantig living room with a very comfortable sofa, a big armchair and a 32 inches brand new led TV with hi-fi system. Beside the living room there's a small studio where you can have a little privacy. The living room has a secondary exit that leads to the garden with a barbecue and a big enlightened pergola, perfect for dinner with friends in the evening colours after a day of discovery in our wonderful cities.

Casa del Ponte has been built in 1890 and it has been recently restored with modern refined materials, it has an efficient thermal roof insulation and our technological standards include indipendent central heating, air conditioning (brand new dual split inverter system), washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, satellite TV, Smart Box with a free Netflix account and wifi internet in every room (garden included).

It's particularly fresh during the summer time and warm and cozy in the winter thanks to its thick walls made entirely with stones and old bricks.

The main features of the house, however, are its spaciousness and brightness, almost all the rooms are equipped with two windows looking out on two opposite sides of the house.

Finally, our constant presence in the village for over forty years and our total knowledge of the area will ensure guests a complete service for any type of need or suggestion.
