Description
The apartment is located in a building that has been totally renovated in 2011/2012. It's located in the nice area of Porta Romana, famous for its many artisan shops and small restaurants. Its within the city walls just a few stepped from important monuments as Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens and only 15 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio.
At Porta Romana there is a bus stop both for the tourist buses, who take you on a panoramic tour around Florence, as well as the ordinary buses who takes you right to the heart of Chianti in cities as Siena, San Gimignano, Greve in Chianti, Radda in Chianti etc.
The house, Lodges le Mura, has in total 6 independent apartments to rent. All apartments has it's own safe principal door. Then on first floor there are some rooms in common and a large terrace as a surplus to use if you like.
The apartments together with the rooms in common occupies the two floors of the building and is accessible by an elevator. From the apartments on second floor you can see the Dome of Brunelleschi and Giotto's Bell Tower.
The large terrace is equipped with chairs, sun beds and parasols to offer a peaceful oasis where you can relax after an intensive day full of wonderful experience in the beautiful Florence. From the terrace you can enjoy the view of the sixth city wall where the soldiers who guarded the city once lodged.
This apartment, Palazzo Vecchio, has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen corner in one of the two bedrooms. .
