Country House 'Nazzano' is a typical charming farmhouse between olive yard, vineyard and wood. It is enjoys a magnificent panorama on the surrounding countryside and the towers of San Gimignano and of the ancient medieval town of Certaldo Alto.

It is located in Gambassi Terme at the border of three area: Florence, Siena, Pisa and from here it is possible to reach in short time the most important towns and villages. In this area, especially in the summer period, there are numerous cultural, musical and artistic events, like in the second week of July, in Certaldo Alto the spectacular festival called 'Mercantia' with its street artists and artisans on every corner and in San Gimignano the Opera Festival in August month. We can suggest you some itinerary of the undiscovered parts in the heart of Tuscany. You can reach the beaches of the Tuscany coast: Marina di Castagneto Carducci, Maremma and Versilia km. 80.

We were a family of 8 pepole from israel and from the minute we got there the kind owners- Miriam and Carlo made us a great welcome and helped us in anything we needed.
Our car was stuck near the house and Carlo and Miriam immidiatly came to help us and brought their workers also to help us.
The house is clean and fully equipmented.
The view from the house is unbelieveble.
I reccomend to evreybody who wants to enjoy the fool Tuscany exprience to come to Miriam and Carlo and i gerentee you will not be dissapointed!

Our stay at this country house was exactly what we dreamed of and more! The house is beautifully decorated, private and quiet and has everything that you will need for a week, month or longer stay. The location of the house is unbeatable (right in the middle of the Chianti Wine region) and makes a perfect base from which to explore Tuscany - San Gimignano, Pisa, Volterra and a dozen other typical villages are minutes away and you can be in Siena or Florence in a little over an hour. The views from the house are amazing, the closest towns (Certaldo alto and Gambassi Terme)are charming and the multilingual owners are available and much more than accommodating. If you are dreaming of vineyards, olive groves, medieval stone villages and the perfect "Under the Tuscan Sun" experience - this is your house!

Lovely place! Peace and calmness of the countryside, while still being near to every interesting location in the area. 4 people, 1 week stay.
We stayed in one of the apartments with a separate bedroom and a big living room. Comfortable sleep for 4 people. The bathroom entrance is in the bedroom so you can't lock the bedroom door :)Response from miria mocarini - 10/15/2011

We were not disappointed. We were concerned the pictures might have exaggerated the villa and the scenery...it is all the pictures show and more. We feel in love with the area and the villa. Picture perfect.
Miriam and Carlos are delightful and helpful. They recommended an excellent place for cooking lessons which we throughly enjoyed and a grocery store where we picked up a few breakfast items and snacks. From the villa we easily traveled to see the sights of Tuscany: Votlerra, Siena, San Gimignano , Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Cinque Terre. We stayed in this farm house ("Luciola") in april 2011 (easter holidays). Our party was made up of one adult, one 12 year olds and one 10 year olds. Everyone loved the house and would like to go back. Everything was clean and the renter (Miriam and Carlo) was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for day trips-to the mountains to the coast to enjoy dining on fresh seafood to nearby cities (Siena, Lucca, Pisa , Florence, San Gimignano, Certaldo and Voltera). All in all, we can recommend you to stay in this house.

We were kindly welcomed. We enjoyed this quiet house in the country among a large domain and that gave a peaceful feeling. The appartment was large and beautiful, with a terrace and direct access to the garden and nature. Everything for everyday life was actually available inside, and shops and services in Certaldo, readily available. It was easy to visit Firenze, Sienna, in the best conditions, using railways; and Volterra, San Giminiano, and other cities, and the country using car.
To sum-up, that was a very nice stay in a very nice house.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette villa en septembre 2009 et nous avons tellement apprécié que nous y sommes retourné en septembre 2010.
Myriam et Carlo sont des hôtes exceptionnels.
Carlo nous a fait visiter les alentours et nous a amener dans un vignoble.
Le site est exceptionnel et très calme.
Idéal pour visiter la Toscane bien situé entre Florence et Sienne et tout près de superbes villages médiévaux(San Gimignano, Volterra, Montereggioni etc.). -

We arrived quite late on a very rainy night and Miria met us in the town, suggesting a place we could get some food and then proceeded to drive us up to our lovely accommodation which is about 4 kilometres from the town of Certaldo. As there was a young family staying above our apartment she allowed us to view one of the other apartments so that we would not be disturbed. Miria and her husband went so far as to dropo in a bottle of the wine they produce. They were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the beauty of the area. as we had our own transport it was easy to visit the other places of interest such as San Gimiano, Sienna and we went by train to Florence for the day. We spent a week in this lovely relaxing apartment. The only negative for this place was the shower in our apartment which was very small and had difficulty draining. When mentioned, the owners attempted to fix the problem but it didn't work. Overall our stay was wonderful and we would both recommend this place for a wonderful, peaceful stay.

La Libellula is a lovely apartment and with its little kitchen corner and living room with views over the rolling countryside. The apartment is well located for the charming town of Certaldo and the lovely Certaldo alto.
Owners were helpful without being intrusive.
