Located in the heart of Chianti, surrounded by panoramic vineyards and olive groves, the rural complex of Villa il Castellaccio was in past times an aristocratic country Villa and it's farm. From the original farm buildings, four apartments have been recently reconstructed, in style and with comfortable furnishings and mod-cons, all with independent entrances.

Central to all the famous Tuscan cities: Florence (only 25 minutes by train from nearby Figline station), Siena, San Gimignano and Arezzo, in the middle of the Chianti area for the medieval towns of Radda, Greve in Chianti , Castellina ,Gaiole and many more.

Villa il Castellaccio makes an ideal homebase combining relaxion and sightseeing.

Also, don't forget ....we are near to the fashion outlets Prada and The Mall near Figline Valdarno!

Villa il Castellaccio we can help to organise wine tasting, Dinners and Cooking classes and Day trips by chauffeur driven cars to places further afield like Rome,Venice, Chianti wine tour, to name but a few....but we can take you wherever you wish!! Nearby you can go horse riding and play tennis and Golf.............However after an exciting day out it's wonderful to get back “home” to the fresh country air and a dip in the pool!

All guests in the apartments share the gardens and main outdoor swimming-pool (15m x 8m opened from 1 May- 30 Oct) and the Pizza & barbecue terrace.
