Munising, MichiganBeautiful cabin in the woods!
Left on 04/10/2013 for a stay in April 2013
This cabin turned out to be an excellent home to host my family while they were in from out of town visiting. The cabin is furnished extremely well...they have literally thought of everything! Even had baby items (baby gate/bath/bouncy chair) which all came in handy! The cabin is much more modern than I expected and comfortably accommodated three couples and a couple of children. Only wish is that the weather was nicer so that we could have enjoyed outdoors as well. Would recommend Maple Ridge to anyone! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Burlington, MIGreat Northern Secret !!
Left on 02/09/2013 for a stay in September 2012
From the initial inquiries to the time we arrived the whole process was very smooth. Directions to the cabin were spot-on accurate and we were 'very' surprised when we pulled up to this U.P. gem. I have mixed feelings about leaving a truthful review of this place because I would love to keep this wonderful discovery as a family secret but that would not be fair to others so here goes... This is not the storied "up cabin" you typically think of. This place is a fully equipped northern home in the woods. Not rustic, but luxury. We were in need of nothing the entire weeks stay. Our only complaint was that we didn't have a vacuum to clean up after ourselves (how dumb is that ??) We have been traveling to the up for decades and never realized that a cabin of this quality and value even existed for our vacation use. The location (approx 10 miles south of Munising) is such that it's perfect for day trips to the Pictured Rocks, Waterfall viewing, Fayette, Seney Wildlife Refuge, The Big Spring and many great up towns like Marquette, Grand Marais and Manistique just to name a few. If you like hiking or canoing the area abounds with trails and lakes. In the evenings after long days roaming the north country we would come back to the cabin, cook dinner and the family would sit around the campfire and unwind. If you are looking for a Great up getaway this is it. For the price, quality and amenities that this place offers, my family has found a home away from home. Maple Ridge vs Motel stay ?? No-brainer !!

We enjoyed our time in the cabin. It had everything we needed and it was nice to park our sleds in the garage. We was looking forward to the fire place but it had been removed.

Oak Park, MichiganGreat Family Getaway
Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in July 2012
The cabin was beautiful. My husband and I stayed there for a week with our 5 children ages from 6 to 18. It had every amenity, waffle maker, extra beach towels, etc. The location was great. We did waterfall tours, pictured rock boat tours, Pete's lake was lovely. I highly recommend.

Ypsilanti, MIMaple Ridge is a wonderful rental!
Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in July 2012
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent at Maple Ridge. The house is spacious, comfortable, squeaky clean and absolutely beautiful. It's big enough for a crowd, yet is cozy and comfortable. The cookware, dishes, appliances, etc. are all up to date and very, very nice. The outside amenities (fire pit, grill, etc.) are all complete and very well appointed. The house is close to lakes, ski/hiking/biking trails, restaurants, etc. while still maintaining a "forest feel". This, along with the flat screen TVs and internet access allowed us to get away without being out of touch. I am very particular about rental homes and Maple Ridge far exceeded my expectations. So much that, upon returning from our trip in July, 2012, we immediately booked for a winter snowmobile week and our vacation for July, 2013! I would highly recommend Maple Ridge.

We came up to snowmobile, this is a very well supplied house and enjoyed it very much. A lot of room to park our big trailer and truck. It is a little far from town so make sure you get gas in your sled before you leave Wetmore.

Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in August 2012
We took our adult children to Maple Ridge for a week vacation. When we pulled in it was obvious this was a well cared for cabin. Everything and more than advertised.
Many things in the area to keep you busy, pictured rocks is a must see, waterfalls abound, trails for hiking or mountain biking. Would highly recommend this as a vacation destination to our friends.
