Description
Villa Ripertoli is our beautiful farmhouse in the heart of Chianti, mid-way between Florence & Siena, in its own secluded 40-acre-estate, with magnificent views of the Tuscan countryside. It is a family home, superbly furnished with every conceivable facility, where we spend several weeks every year. It sleeps up to 17 comfortably, in a main house and 2 close-by cottages, all air-conditioned. The main house can be rented on its own, and either or both cottages added later if required. There are 8 double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, a lovely large heated swimming pool with an electric safety cover, and over an acre of well-irrigated garden. Marisa has been our housekeeper for 30 years, helped by her family who also maintain the garden and pool. An outstanding local cook is available if required. The charming towns of Greve-in-Chianti and Panzano are both within a 10-minute drive. We take great pleasure in ensuring that Ripertoli's comfort and facilities are at the highest level, and are rewarded by our many 5-star reviews. Ripertoli has 600 olive trees, from which we produce our own extra-virgin olive oil every year. Every guest is provided with a free unlimited supply of Ripertoli olive oil during their stay, and the opportunity to purchase more to take home. Almost all our guests do - it's the best olive oil in the world !

Response from the owner Thank you Ian for such lovely detailed feedback. You have picked up on many of the things that made us fall in love with Ripertoli and buy it 30 years ago. Of course we have done a huge amount to improve the amenities of the house, but the views are the same as they have been for centuries. It took us 7 years to get planning permission for our beautiful pool, and quite a while to sort out the best technology for heating the pool, but we've got there now. Deborah and I are so glad that Ripertoli was the right location for your multi-generation internationally-based family get-together, and we thank you for telling our future guests about it. As you say, it's very difficult to communicate the WOW factor in advance, but at least it puts us in the under-promise-and-over-deliver camp.
