Description
L'Antica Cisterna is an authentic traditional Tuscan farmhouse in San Donnino, Certaldo, and has been tastefully converted into a residential villa for holiday lets.
The accommodation comprises four bedrooms (including one triple), four bathrooms, a kitchen, large dining room and living room. It sleeps 8 or 9 people in comfort and measures 200 square metres.
At a dream location in Chianti mid-way between Florence and SIena, the house is tucked away in the rolling hills overlooking the Elsa valley, with San Gimignano in the distance.
The property has the following facilities:
- tastefully furnished and decorated rooms with original beamed ceilings and terracotta floors,
- garden: vine-shaded terrace with a table and barbecue, sun terrace, olive grove, all for exclusive use of guests,
- private swimming pool, 10 x 4 metres,

Response from the owner We're glad you appreciated the positive sides of our property but very sorry that you were disappointed by others. We do pride ourselves on helping our guests to enjoy their stay as much as possible. On this occasion, we were unfortunately called away to attend a close relative with a terminal illness. Had we been there during your visit, we could not of course have done anything about the heatwave or the mosquitos, but we certainly would have dealt with the pool issue and the washing machine, which is in our side of the house.
