Description
Our open concept apartment is your professionally decorated and fully furnished “home away from home.” Each apartment has a dedicated private entrance and an outdoor dining/Barbecue patio area. The suite comes complete with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fully appointed kitchen, bedding, linens, towels, fully enclosed backyard, BBQ, free utilities, free Wifi, premium cable TV, air conditioning, free access to adult and children's bicycles, and free parking. Biweekly cleaning services are also included.Our apartments are self contained, private and are rented to one guest as a whole unit. We do not rent rooms to different guests. The only shared area other are the rear garden and the parking area. We have our own registered Little Library which is attached to the front yard tree. Where young and old, visitors or neighbours, can "take a book, leave a book".This beautiful1 bedroom garden suite is 1000 SqF(190 SqM) and has it's (11'x 20') front porch and rear private porch (11'x18') with lounge chairs, a dining area and a private gas BBQ. Both the front and rear porch are shaded by a 100+ yr old trees. The suite is an open concept living/dining/kitchen space. It is furnished in an “Old Toronto Style” with art and antiques. • The large eat in kitchen (14'x10,13 SqM) comes with a centre island and has granite countertops, dishwasher, refrigerator and range, and a full size washer/drye. It also has a small study nook and direct walkout to the porch/garden/BBQ• Refinished original oak strip flooring. • The living room/dining room is 20'x12'(17SqM) and has an antique farmhouse table and chairs plus custom built wall units. • The living area has a 42” flat screen TV, a cozy fireplace area with a large leather comfy chair, and a 3 seat sofa that opens to a queen bed – allowing 4 people to stay.• The bathroom is a 4 pc with a bathtub/shower.• The bedroom is 14'x12' and has a queen size bed and 6ft closet. There is another 6ft closet at the front hallway. The suite also comes with a shared backyard and garden, storage shed and one parking space per unit (additional street parking is available.)Our place has been a favourite destination and a home to Relocating Executives, Family Reunions, Local families renovating their homes, Interning Professionals such as Doctors, Academics ,and Scientists. Among our longer staying guests we have had an Astronaut, Diplomats, and Professional Athletes. Some have become repeat visitors.
We supply "hypoallergenic pillows, certified asthma and allergy friendly". Every long term guest will receive new pillows, otherwise we supply new ones every 30 days of usage.
We can provide a child's bedrail, a high chair and a Evenflo Pac n' Play.
Please note that our check in procedure, for security reasons, requires us to see a photo ID and the credit card used to pay for booking with Tripadvisor within 7 days of booking, unless other arrangements are made.

Response from the owner We always ensure booked guests have access to our property address. Flipkey also provides this information upon request for guests using its services. Unfortunately, this person backed out of his booking and Flipkey denied his refund because he failed to follow Flipkey's cancellation procedures. This person never saw or stayed at our place. Please read all other reviews for an accurate description of our place and neighbourhood. The August 2013 edition of Toronto Life magazine ranked our neighbourhood, High Park/Swansea, in the top 3 (out of 140) "The Best Places To Live In The City."
