“Perfect for the family” We arrived reasonably late, Herriot kindly arranged for our pick-up & drop-off. Check-in was breezy! It was bigger than we expected (which is never an issue!) 3 bedrooms and a living room with the pool & a bit of a garden separating them. We were a family of 6 adults and 1 toddler, this villa was a great size for us, in fact it can easily accommodate a slightly bigger group. Having the pool just right at our door step was a bonus especially after being out on a humid day. For families with wandering toddler, be mindful of the pool being just there. We didn't have any issues with Eian who is 2.7 years. We explained the pool rules to him so every time he wanted to swim he would announce it rather loudly :-). The courtyard is such a great place to chill, we spent quite a bit of time by the pool chatting and reading. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable - with plenty of towels to last us for weeks. Our room had a slight damp smell to it probably due to it not being used for a while, 2 other rooms and living room was fine. The kitchen was sufficient for cooking and there's also washing machine, tv etc - it was just like staying in a house. Some of the kitchen utensils needed to be washed before we used it due to grease but that was easily sorted. They cleaned the pool once when we were there and the garden was well kept too. There's always someone at the office to help with tours/car rental ( even on Sundays). We rented a car on our last day there with the help of the office and also hired a driver. Pisit was warm and very patient with our 'wants', even waited when we shopped at Tesco! and when he couldn't accommodate to our requests he would always find an alternative driver for us. The location of the villa is convenient as it is fairly central, it depends on what the group wants to do of course. It's about 40 mins to even the furthest part of Phuket. The next time we travel in a group to Phuket - we would definitely look into renting Jah Villa again!!

“Phenomenal” This apartment is unbelievably glamorous - the sort of place that a James Bond villain would live in ( minus the fluffy white cat or underfloor shark tank). 6 of us stayed here for 10 days and were all blown away by the place - the pool is divine with it's inbuilt jacuzzi - perfect for sundowners - it lights up at night too. The living area is enormous and the windows open up so you can have a real outside in experience. The bedrooms are all very well decorated and have firm beds - which works for me.. There is also plenty of storage space so you can unpack and really feel 'at home'. There are separate sound systems in each room as well as a central one in the main living area. We didn't use the TV but it has a soundboard and was huge. Do hire the chef ( there are actually 3 who turn up) they will cook whatever you want and then clean up afterwards - all for about £80 - for our group we had 6 seperate main dishes with various accompaniments and there was enough leftover for lunch the following day. WhEn we were there there was an issue with the internet - the agent promptly came up to try to fix it and it turned out to be the service provider that had the fault - she made some phone calls and it was sorted very quickly and efficiently. Tuk tuks all managed to reach the top of the hill including all the shopping! - memorably on one occasion turning up the music to drown out the tortured engine sounds as we encouraged the driver with shouts of 'up, up, up' and all drivers got a round of applause at the top. RJD was a delight to deal with - answered all our questions and allowed us a late checkout as our flight was late in the evening. Ms A, the agent, was very helpful and sorted out the internet company very quickly. If I had to be extremely picky I would have liked more pool furniture and maybe a parasol because we spent a lot of time outside and the sun is STRONG but overall this is a fantastic spot and a sumptuous apartment - incidentally the pictures on the website do not do it justice. All of our party had seen the pictures on the web and knew what to expect. OMFG was the politest expression - in fact the only printable comment - when the door was opened! The kitchen utensils were a little sparse - but the kitchen knives were sharp which is very unusual and much appreciated - these are tiny tiny criticisms for a beautiful and well appointed apartment. I will - actually have already - recommend to friends
