We had a very nice welcome by Mr ansd Mrs Tomas and the cottage was a surprise by its location behind the chapel but once inside what a delightful place clean, very well appointed, warm, complete with a log fire and a very nice welcome pack. The beds were very comfortable and with a shower room and two toilets it was a perfect place for four people to stay.
It is a little way from the nearest village of Trawsfynydd and although located near a busy road the cottage is behind the chapel and traffic noise was not a problem. The location is great surrounded by open countryside and a good central place for visiting many local places of interest especially the narrow gauge railways. Portmadog, the home of the Ffestiniog railway is only 11 miles away and in the course of our week's stay we visited a narrow gauge railway every day! With sheep just outside the kitchen it was just a lovely place to stay and we would thoroughly recommend this cottage.
Really lovely cottage, which although is on a main road, when inside you don't hear the traffic at all. Nothing negative to say - nice beds, nice facilities, nice kitchen, great log burner... a really well presented place. And a great location from which to explore snowdonia.
