“Peaceful, comfortable get away from it all” Llety Nest was spotless, very comfortable and contained everything you could possibly need. The noisiest thing in the area were the sheep. Excellent centre for mid and north Wales, with excellent hill walking literally right on your door step by turning right to walk along the private lane you are on top of the hill in minutes. You can then return to a warm cosy cottage and a hot power shower, whilst your clothes are in the washing machine.

“Peaceful ,comfortable, ideal location for visiting Snowdonia.” We were greeted with welsh cakes they were scrumptious. Although we were told the water was from a spring and may be discolored, we could taste nothing different to our own tap water. we felt that we were catered for in every way and would recommend this cottage to any one and everyone. We would like to say a really big thank you to the owners, they did us proud. The cottage is located 3 miles from Llanbedr, down some narrow country lanes, it is off the beaten track really quiet, it is also very cosy and warm. Brian & Patricia Farthing / Alan & Julie Frost

“peace & quite with outstanding views & wild life” the house is well placed and easy to find, the layout was modern and well layed out with comfortable beds. For our first first holiday in Wales this was a good location to pick, we found plenty of places to go and eat, we dined out 6 out of 7 nights. We will defenently going back soon.

“Peaceful secluded cottage” The cottage was well equipped, however may have been beneficial to have a washing machine if we were to stay longer than a week. It was very peaceful and had lovely views over the area. If you like cycling the Coed-y-Brenin trail centre was a 45 minute ride away. Not walkable into town for small children, however the town has a great big play area behind the large bridge. The skylight in the main bedroom was very noisy when it rained hard. Overall a great stay in a lovely area.

BUZZARD COTTAGE, pet friendly, country holiday cottage, with a garden in

Dolgellau house

“A luxury cabin in a magnificent mountain retreat...” The owners were friendly and helpful but not too fussy so we felt nice and relaxed as we should be on holiday. They let our unruly pet lurcher play in the field with their own lurcher so there was even a holiday romance! The cottage was like a mountain cabin - truly luxurious and a great kitchen for cooking up monster meals after a day in the hills. The bedrooms were pretty, spacious and well furnished. The setting was superb - right in the midst of the wooded mountainside and from the garden you could see the peak of Cadair Idris poking above the forests - it was more like Yosemite than Wales! You could do some great walks straight from the cottage or just venturing out for a few miles in the car although it seemed like we were staying in the deepest wilderness the town of Dolgellau was just down the road for the shops and there was even a Breton onion-seller peddling his wares in the town centre when we were there. Although the weather was a bit wet we had a magnificent week - far exceeding our expectations. The only downside was the free range cattle that roamed around the cottage at night so I couldn't take the dog out for his late night walk. Also they only do Friday to Friday bookings so we missed a day of our holiday as we can't get out of work on Friday and can't generally leave home until Saturday.

“A spacious and very comfortable home fro home in a beautiful set” This spacious home was a perfect base for our family of 2 adults and 4 children. The second lounge was a real bonus and having 3 bathrooms was lovely. Free WiFi was much appreciated by the teens in the family. The garden was a real treasure and our youngest enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels. No arguments about what to watch on the telly as each room had its own! Lovely area with lots to do for all. Top tip for any adrenaline junkies: canyoning with Snowdonia Outdoor adventures and Zipworld. Google it, it will make your holiday!

“Value for money in the Welsh countryside” Friendly greeting from Farmer's wife next door. Property was ideal for large family group (3 generations from teenage to 60s). Lots of bathrooms and different areas. Very popular was the hot tub and games room. Farmer drove us up the local Mountain and we walked back down. It may be too remote for some but was ideal for us

“Peace and tranquility in Llanbedr” This was our second stay at Ty Cerrig and on both occasions booking the cottage was simple and straightforward, made easier by friendly staff. Ty Cerrig is ideal for our needs although the large settee in the lounge is getting a bit tired, the rest of the cottage is well appointed. The log-burning stove was most welcome at nights. The enclosed garden is ideal for our dog and there are plenty of local walks for his exercise. We know the area very well, there are take-aways in Harlech and the local pub has a good extensive menu. I think the most important factor for me is the peace and quiet the location offers, surrounded by fabulous countryside

BRYNTEG, family friendly, with a garden in Llwyngwril, Ref 3934
Llwyngwril

Bungalow with car parking driveway, situated on sparsely frequented main road between Fairbourne and Twyn and ideally placed for accessing scenic tourist spots surrounding the Cader Idris massif. Good views of the Irish Sea and the Lleyn Peninsula. Only five minutes walk to local pebble peach where sea otters and porpoises may be seen in the spring and summer of the year. Pleasant neighbours abut the property.see more

Tree Tops Cottage
Perfect!

Put simply, there is nothing bad to write about Tree Tops - we had the most incredible stay, our only complaint is 2 nights wasn't long enough!! Martin, Lynn & family are wonderful, and couldn't do enough to help us, especially when we got a flat tyre! The cottage is stunning, and has everything you need and more - We can't recommend it highly enough, and we can't wait to go back in the summer! Thank you Martin & Lynn!! Xsee more
Farm cottage sea mountains Snowdonia Gwynedd
Comfort and access with a view

Comfortable and clean cottage with satisfactory kitchen, fireplace, and a wonderful exterior garden, a fine place to enjoy your first cup of the day. There are great mountain views from many of the rooms, which are all tastefully furnished. I was pleasantly surprised to find a reliable and ample supply of hot water and a cooker (stove we say in America) that did a respectable job for us. I really enjoyed the bucolic setting and the closeness to hiking and mountain-bike trails, Snowdonia National Park, Castle Harlech, and the beach town of Barmouth. I also worked in a little birding. All in all, can't wait to go back.see more
Bron-Nant Holiday Cottage with Fire, Pool & Views
It couldn't of been better

Everything about Bron-nant was just what we wanted. A great welcome - with some lovely home made cake, - wonderfully quiet, plenty of room, great views with sunsets and sunrises, a comfortable and warm cottage with all the facilities; you can even lie in bed and watch the stars in the loft room. We wil be back if we can find a week that isn't booked already! Thansk to Jeremy and Ceinwen for making us so welcome.see more
