"Duck is loaded with great restaurants and none are inexpensive.
Kimball's Kitchen is part of the Sanderling Resort and is stellar in everything they do. Floor to ceiling windows give a great view of the Currituck Sound and sunsets. Service and food is outstanding as is the wine list.

Sanderling has a nature trail and pond but the houses are mostly smaller and it looks like the HOA requires owners to paint their house gray or a neutral earth tone, very dull."
