Description
The Le Papillon Bleu is an old farmhouse dating back to 1650 in the south of Limousin on the border of the Lot. It has been lovingly restored with the whoosh to maintain the original rustic yet to integrate the advantages of modernity. Located in a small village (Guilles) with four other houses, located in a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere. It can be heard no traffic. The plot is approximately 2000 square meters in size and offers in the summer apples, figs and various other fruits. In autumn there are a lot of walnuts. The nearest supermarket is 5 minutes away by car or 15 minute walk. The nearest town (Beaulieu-Sur-Dordogne) 8 minutes by car. There are more shops and several cafes and restaurants, and wonderful swimming opportunities in the clean Dordogne (a small barrage has little flow and deep water). The house includes three bedrooms, two beds with 180x200 mattress and a bed with a mattress 140x200. As mattresses we use orthopedic foam mattresses with Oeko-Tex certificate. The bedding is also made entirely of cotton Oeko-Tex. The kitchen is equipped with a 6-burner gas stove with integrated electric oven and contains everything needed to cook at a high level. Also there is a large fridge freezer. For the cold season there are two fireplaces, a dining room and a living room. In addition there are electric heaters and small gas emitters. The living room is furnished with a comfortable genuine leather bed and offers a sophisticated ambience. The whole house is fitted with high quality solid wood furniture that perfectly match with the ambience of the house. A small music system is also available. The large terrace (30 sqm) to the one coming from the dining room, is the ideal pied in the summer. On the day bed (200x100cm) is a great place to hold a small night nap or simply look into the distance, relax and unwind. Overall, a wonderful place for lovers of nature and rusticity. A place to completely unwind and find oneself. Nestled in beautiful natural surroundings in an area which offers a variety of attractions and activities. Sporting activities: - canoeing / kayaking on the Dordogne - swimming - cycling - hiking (a hiking trail leads right past the house) - paragliding Attractions: - one of the largest caves in Europe - many castles - beautiful medieval villages and towns - take Dampflock - various festivals and concerts - and much more
