“The Beautiful Cottage near the beach”
Had a wonderful time in Ireland staying in The Thatch near Maghera beach, Ardara. Our hosts, Carmel and Brian gave us a lovely welcome and had left some provisions for us without charge. The cottage is warm, welcoming and spotless with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Maghera beach is a few minutes walk away-one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. We will return

“Fantastic Thatched Cottage.”
This cottage is in a fabulous location, just a few minutes walk from one of the best beaches in Ireland and close to lots of good walking.Also the caves at the beach are a great location for photography. You could get lost in time with your camera here. Carmel and Brian, the hosts, were there when we arrived and give us a very warm welcome and left us a very generous starter pack which included amongst other things,lovely home made bread . The cottage itself is warm, really cosy and very well equipped. Everything is immaculate. We had a truly enjoyable weekend although the weather was wet and windy it did not stop us enjoying ourselves.

“Perfect in every way.”
We have just returned from a wonderful break at The Thatch. The cottage is immaculate inside and out, we couldn't have asked for anymore. Carmel and Brian were so welcoming and every detail had be thought of. We would highly recommend this property , you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to visiting again.

“Little Slice of Heaven”
This cottage is a little gem, nestled at the foot of stunning mountains with a spectacular beach just a few minutes' walk away. The nearby waterfall is stunning, and the closest town of Ardara has something to offer everyone. The cottage itself is warm, cosy and beautifully equipped. Everything is immaculate, and the garden would have been used so much more if it hadn't been for the late August rain, but you take your chances with the weather in Donegal! A warm welcome and even some home-made bread was presented on our arrival, which set the tone for a beautiful short break. We'll definitely be booking again.
