La capanna del nonno si chiama così perchè era, in passato, una vera stalla in cui venivano accudite le mucche durante l'inverno. Oggi è una casa in pietra completamente restaurata nel 2013 utilizzando solo materiali locali come pietre scalpellinate e cotto. La capanna è adesso una romantica e funzionale casa di campagna su due piani con una cucina super attrezzata in una grande sala d'ingresso, un bagno confortevole con doccia, una romantica camera con letto matrimoniale e un disimpegno con un divano letto per due persone. La casa può ospitare, quindi, un massimo di 4 ospiti. La capanna ha anche un grazioso balcone di ingresso su cui gli ospiti possono prendere il sole o gustare piatti e vini italiani sotto il sole di Toscana. Il balcone è adornato con vasi da fiore e piante aromatiche da utilizzare per cucinare come rosmarino, salvia, timo. Dal balcone e dalle finestre della casa la vista sugli Appennini e la valle di Bagni di Lucca è mozzafiato. Da qui gli ospiti possono camminare, correre, andare in monutain bike lungo strade sterrate costeggiate da boschi di castagni e di querce dove non è difficile incontrare cinghiali, cervi, volpi, lepri e diversi tipi di uccelli. Lugliano è a soli 4 chilometri da Bagni di Lucca dove si trovano le storiche Terme dalle note acque curative. Lucca, Barga, Castelnuovo, Viareggio, Pisa, possono essere raggiunte da qui in meno di un'ora. Firenze, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, le Cinque Terre possono essere raggiunte in meno di due ore. The Italian name of this property is "La capanna del nonno". In the past, it was, en effect, a typical hut where cows stayed and were fed during the winter season, when the snow covered all the fields in the area. This independent stone house has been completely restored using only local materials, such as carved stones outside and "cotto" inside. The hut is now a functional country house on two levels with an equipped kitchen in a large diningroom, a comfortable bathroom with a shower, a romantic bedroom with a double bed and one sofa-bed for 4 people max. The house has also a nice balcony where guests can get tunned or taste fantastic Italian meals and wines under the Tuscan sun. On the balcony there are several big vases full of flowers and aromatic plants to use to cook: rosemary, sage, thyme...From the balcony the view on Bagni di Lucca's area and the Appennini's chain is absolutely stunning! From here guests can go walking, biking and running along dirt roads surrounded by woods of oaks and chestnut trees where it is not difficult to meet wild animals such as boars, foxes, deers, hares, badgers and many different kinds of colourful and twitting birds. The village of Lugliano is only 4 kmts far from Bagni di Lucca where there is a famous Spa with fantastic thermal waters. Lucca, Barga, Viareggio, Pisa, can be reached in less than an hour. Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Cinque Terre can be reached in less than two hours. Ideal starting point for the Art festival in Bagni di Lucca, Lucca Summer Festival, Lucca Comics and Games and Halloween Celebration in Borgo a Mozzano.
