Description

Against the backdrop of the Dolomites, in a lovely valley, intact, ancient farm offers furnished apartments and a small restaurant. Casa de Bertoldi is placed on top of a hill overlooking one of the greenest and most unspoilt corners of Belluno. From the farm you can enjoy the view of a wide valley on one side and the Dolomites on the other. The company operates from furnished center and as a starting point for walking with instructors of Nordic Walking or horseback riding. Casa de Bertoldi also has a small restaurant where dishes are prepared in the local tradition, using the company's products. All apartments are still fitted kitchens to ensure complete independence to guests. Inside the structure there is a wine bar, serving snacks accompanied by local wine with a focus on organic and biodynamic wines. The wine bar offers you a terrace with views of the Dolomites, with wifi, to spend the time relaxing.

“'Agrotourism' should not be used as an excuse for sparse/outdated amenities,or poor service,worst place I have stayed in”

Hugely disappointing and ruined my vacation - Wasn't even given this (Canevin) specific room that I had booked-no wi-fi,very little effort was made to rectify this,mobile data hardly worked either,so couldn't even load my photos,not even an electric kettle,ancient,sunken matress,no reception;had to stand in driveway and try to catch someone for any help,only two people barely spoke English,so more waiting around,the '1km away' supermarket was 3km away so not fun hauling any shopping back,and on my last day there was no heat,no hot water and no gas to cook with,so I had to travel home for 18 hours having not showered or eaten - they did set up the ancient wood-burner,so some heat,but sore fingers,and of course everything,including me,reeked of smoke. Can only say that the food was nice,although nothing available until 8pm.It was clean also,if you don't count the blocked shower drain so standing in an inch of water,plus soap scum and hair from previous occupants. A beautiful scenic area,and Belluno full of history,but would definitely recommend staying somewhere else.

Response from the owner dear guest, we are very sorry to read you had such a disappointing stay. We ensure you that the apartment have been recently renewed (mattress for instance and internet). However we want want to state that we manage a farm and not an hotel and that we are proud about the kind of hospitality that we offer. The farm is a farm and a bit rustic, but we do our best to give a great countryside experience to our guests. Best regards
