“my experience has been a dream” Usually I don't write a review when I visit a place, but in this case I want to congratulate with the owner of the House because it is wonderful and in a strategic position!!! first of all I receveid a very good service, then the House is very clean and in a perfect venetian style! It's seems like a film! wonderful! the badrooms and the bathroom are very very spacious, comfortable and elegant! The location is perfect because: - you can visit the center of the city and the rest of the Lagoon because by foot you can reach a stop nearby the house! Infact the house is located in Giudecca that is in front of S.Mark place!!! also Giudecca is very nice and typical - if you need something to eat it's possible to do some shopping in a supermarket nearby or reach a restaurant!!! very comfortable! - the house is attached to the hotel "Hilton" where you can booked a spa! I'm sure that when I return to this wonderful city, I'll come again in this perfect house!!!

“You will love it!!” From start to finish it was a pleasure! Not only was Marc wonderful to deal with during the booking process, we had alternate contact details for his mother and the housekeeper to ensure we were well looked after. The apartment was wonderful. Marc's fantastic instructions and suggestion to get a water taxi from Venice airport (where we left our vehicle) was well received and we were dropped virtually at the front door. There is one flight of stairs up to the apartment (which is above a restaurant), and easy to manage - and the apartment itself was absolutely charming! Gorgeous kitchen and bathroom and the bed in the master bedroom made us feel like royalty! The position was wonderful because it was away from the crowds - but still an easy walk to St Marks and fantastic restaurants and shops. We loved looking out our window and watching the comings and goings of the canal - it made us feel like locals and not so much as tourists. Thanks also for the lovely welcome pack of bread, spreads, drinks, prosecco - it was glorious. I would highly recommend this apartment - and I would love to return (3 nights was definitely not enough!!!).

“Fantastic stay” This is a fantastic apartment in an ideal location! It exceeded our expectations and helped make our vacation special. All arrangements were easy. This will be my first choice for a place to stay for our next visit. The apartment has amazing views, is close to a market, and is a 3-minute walk to the Vaporetto station. It is beautifully decorated with a fabulous kitchen, living room and bathroom and has 2 super-comfortable large beds. Ottobre 2013

“Nice experience” Nicely welcome upon arrival . Well equipped apartment - very comfortable for 2 but ok for 4 ( you share bath room). Very well located in Dorsoduro, many nice restaurants and cafe in the nearby in addition to many cultural places ( scuole and Churches). Everything is walking distance.

“An unforgettable experience!” Chiara was the perfect host. She met us at the dock, walked us to the apartment and gave detailed instructions on how to best enjoy her native city. As if Chiara wasn't enough, you won't believe this apartment. The view from the terrace is stunning! My family spent most of our time just people watching and relaxing from above. You feel as if you're on top of the city. The apartment itself is gorgeously decorated and captures exactly what you would expect from a Venetian apartment. If you have any hesitations, don't! Book now and you won't regret it.

“Comfort, quiet and a spectacular view across the Guidecca canal.” The Palladio garden was just what we needed in Venice. We were attending the Biennale but had teenagers with us, so we needed somewhere a short hop to the Giardini, but with a relaxing lounge and comfortable beds so girls and we could recharge. Stepping out each morning to the wonderful light, water and openness of the Guidecca canal was a real treat. Kitchen and bathrooms had all we needed for convenience and the service from our rep from Truly Venice was excellent. Note that the Dosoduro is a quiet neighbourhood and you are a boat ride or a walk over the academia bridge. But we liked that! We shall stay here again.

“Wonderful apartment” We spent a week at alba D'Oro in Venice, and we enjoyed the whole experience. The location, very close to the Rialto Mercato vaporetto stop, is perfect for walking everywhere. The apartment is beautiful and overlooks the Grand Canal. The rooms are large and beautifully furnished. The bed is comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The kitchen is great, and we made a number of meals using the Rialto market to supply us. Truly Venice was very easy to work with. Both deposit and final payment could be made by credit card. They also have a complete book of instructions located in apartment. Every rental agency should do this. It can be very difficult to remember how to operate the washing machine after getting verbal instructions days earlier! The book also includes sightseeing suggestions as well as recommended restaurants. This is our "return to" apartment in Venice!

“Perfect for large family” We were traveling with a large family and a hotel was simply not a great option for us. We rented all three rooms of this apartment and were delighted. The flat is located in a non-touristy area which made it quieter and quainter.
