“A rare find in wonderful location” It is extremely rare to find accomodation on the island of Burano and this Fisherman's House is ideal for those who want to escape from Venice for a few days and experience 'local' living. The house is small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean, it has been well appointed (larger cups and a kettle would have been my only wish but it is probably on the English guests who are avid tea drinkers!!! The owner aline is very welcoming and most helpful. An excellent place to stay in a delightful cottage with views across the lagoon, near to all the amenities of Burano - an island which is without doubt the jewel of the Venetian Lagoon.

“Perfect for large family” We were traveling with a large family and a hotel was simply not a great option for us. We rented all three rooms of this apartment and were delighted. The flat is located in a non-touristy area which made it quieter and quainter.

“Fantastic apartment- convenient location” When traveling to Venice, this is the place to stay! Not only is the apartment perfectly located, it is absolutely beautiful, upgraded in every way possible. We were completely delighted with the property, Stefano was so communicative and kind, easy to deal with and I would honestly never stay anywhere else on return visits to that city. The apartment itself is perfect in every way and within very close walking distance of water taxi stop, Ca Da Oro, close to the beautiful Rialto bridge, and just around the corner from many restaurants, shops, drugstore, gelato shops and groceries. Very convenient. We loved the area and the neighborhood- we felt very safe and at home there. Stefano's apartment is absolutely stunning, with all new kitchen, upgraded new bathrooms, with terrific showers, beautiful light fixtures in all rooms, exposed beam ceilings in the living room area and bedrooms, nice comfortable furniture, beautiful flooring throughout, etc. Bonus: washer and dryer! I cannot say enough complimentary things about this property. It is definitely worth every penny you will spend and I would recommend it to anyone I know traveling to Venice. I am going back in September 2014 and plan to rent from Stefano again! Thank you to a wonderful host for his kindness and hospitality!!!

“Central yet quiet location” The apartment was in quiet street (apart from seagulls!) with adequate facilities for a couple and lovely views of street life from balcony. The proximity of vaporetto stop, useful shops and gorgeous squares with churches , people watching etc made it an ideal location for a few days right in the middle of Venice.

“Ablank canvas gem tucked minutes from Piazza San Marco” Sleek modern and pristine ..don't bring sticky fingered toddlers but enjoy the luxurious interior. Lots of space, cute balcony off one of the bedrooms allows you to soak u the Venetian atmosphere - supermarket next-door so easy for stocking up.

“Value for money” Very good, basic apartment. We stayed here with 4 persons during the marathon of Venice. Not very much space, but enough. Good value for money (we chose this option instead of a hotel in or outside Venice). Nice authentic restaurants are located nearby. Very pro-active help and support from the people of viewsonvenice.com. Highly recommended if you're looking for a stay in the heart of Venice for a reasonable price.

“Highlight of our holiday!” A wonderful spacious, yet cosy apartment. My sons enjoyed having their own bathroooms & roomy bedrooms. The living area had a wonderful atmosphere & there was enough room for all of us to sit together & relax comfortably. The Views on Venice staff were extremely helpful & professional. Thank you.
