A large 2500 sq ft detached modern luxurious house on a private 1 acre garden.
Tranquil setting in the West of Ireland looking out onto Black Sod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean with views of Achill and Duvillaun More islands. Breath taking scenery of surrounding landscape 300 meters to a secluded sandy beach suitable for swimming, surfing and fishing.
The house has under floor heating throughout powered by a Geo-thermal ground sourced heat pump which gives a constant comfortable temperature in all rooms anytime of the year along with 24/7 hot water. This together with the ventilation and heat recovery system makes the house very cosy at any time of the year and especially off season and winter months.
Erris was the winner of the Irish Times Best Place to Go Wild in Ireland 2014

The Doohoma Golf Course (9 hole Par 3) is 1.5km away.
Belmullet is the nearest town (30 minute drive) with many bars and restaurants leisure centre and children's entertainment.

Excellent location for relaxation, hill walking, cycling, water sports and sightseeing.
An area rich in Irish culture with traditional Irish music played in the local pubs 2km walk away.
UISCE an adventure centre with water sports is situated in Elly Bay 35Km away.
Westport, a thriving tourist destination is a 45 minute drive away.

“Simply the best holiday property we have ever booked in 15 years of holidaying in Ireland”
We knew from the website that the property looked great but we were blown away by just how impressive it was. Set within 200 metres of the beach with stunning views of Achill Island the house was gorgeous and beautifully fitted out and furnished - it was our perfect holiday home for a fortnight. It combined intelligent design with outstanding facilities and stylish touches and proved a delight to return to it every evening after our many walks - some from the doorstep; others from the many wonderful places that can be visited within an hour's drive. The Belmullet peninsula beckoned and we spent three separate days exploring its beaches, headlands and history. The town of Belmullet provided for all our shopping needs. Ballinacroy National Park and visitor centre was worth the trip as was the bustling attractive town of Westport where we enjoyed a delightful boat trip around the many islands in Clew Bay. It was great being able to bring our dog who enjoyed his beach romps as much as we did. It was a wrench to leave but we hope to return some day.
