Description

Cosy lodge with one double bedroom and an open plan Kitchen/ Dining area plus spacious living room .French doors lead onto a covered raised deck with a lovely outlook over the grounds.

Woodpecker lodge is set on a small family run, rural site just over a mile from the town centre of Blairgowrie where all local amenities may be found our position makes an ideal base for exploring the stunning Cairngorm national park or beautiful Fife coast.

Lovely quiet and peaceful site. Pub/restaurant - 5 minutes walk . Blairgowrie - 15 min walk.

Pets are welcome, but dogs should be kept on a lead on site at all times . We offer free WIFI but please note the signal is limited .

“Excellent”

Just spent a few days here and both my wife and myself loved it .Great site in beautiful scenery. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was really nice with nice garden area to relax in or walk the dogs .Will be booking up again.

“FABULOUS ”

Great place to stay. It has everything you need and is in a very peaceful and tranquil spot. 10 minutes walk to a pub/restaurant and about 25 minutes walk to get into Blairgowrie centre. Homemade biscuits and a jug of milk on arrival. Our host Mel was very helpful and friendly. I didnt want to come home

“The woodpecker”

This small getaway was excellent, pet friendly and hosts were fabulous and there when needed. We visited for our Anniversary and had a wonderful time in the quaint grounds. The cabin was perfect for a relaxing, peaceful couple of nights. The weather was definitely warm enough. We ventured further out to the bluebell woods. Where we managed to spot a deer! The dogs loved it too. Thank you so much.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Loads of lovely walking locations and our hosts were so kind and welcoming. Very helpful guide at the cabin with local food options, walks, details for the nearest vet etc. Really thoughtful. Thank you for having us!

“Pondfauld holiday park (Woodpecker Lodge)”

This is the place if you need that peace and quiet rest. The accommodation is absolutely spotless and has every home comfort you could ask for. Sited in a beautiful orchard and only just 1 mile from the small town which has all the shops you need. When you arrive you will get the warmest welcome from Mel and there will be coffee/tea and biscuits that are readily available in your lodge and a full list of activities and shops/eating places laid out for you on arrival. It also is very pet friendly as we have an Alaskan Malamute and a Syberian Husky and this was not a problem. There is Also a large dog park literally 200 yds from the site which for a small fee you can let your dogs run free. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who just wants a quiet scenic break.

“Beautiful, peaceful, welcoming.”

Nothing bad to say about this place, the cabin was clean, comfy, everything to make your stay perfect. Mel and family were so welcoming and helpful. Would certainly stay again and recommend it to everyone I know. Its a great base for going off each day and visiting the Highlands, or the coast depending on how much driving you wish to do. We had an amazing time there.

We booked the lodge for my partner's birthday and a couple of days away as it was pet friendly. Very welcoming from Mel great place peaceful cosy everything thing you need and want for a very fab break. Will definitely be using again and will definitely recommend also. Oh amazing shorty biscuits too homemade the best way.
