“Luxurious home from home” Had a fabulous stay in this lovely cottage in March 2012. The weather was sunny and warm and we had some fabulous walks both on the beach, the pennine way and the surrounding countryside. The cottage and all its facilites are excellent and the enclosed back garden was a real plus and brilliant for our dog. The cottage is situated in a lovely position with some great walks around the area and some lovely dog friendly pubs. The only addition I would recommend to the owners of the cottage is a large rug in the lounge area as the floor was freezing even when the heating was on. Would highly recommend this cottage and we hope to return again.

“Superb holiday accommodation and location.” This must be about the best holiday cottage we have ever rented from any company. The fittings and equipment were top class, the bathroom the very best we have found in a holiday rental. It is located near to some stunning country side and coast with walks galore.

“Very satisfactory.” Service excellent.very comfortable very clean.everything you could want in the Chapel.location quite excellent centre for walking and sightseeing. “Wonderful cottage in a great location” The cottage is really well presented and the en suite in the 2nd bedroom was a bonus for our teenage daughter! Everything we wanted to see and do was within an hours drive so the location really worked for us. Would definately recommend this cottage to others. The living, dining, kitchen is compact but has everything you need. I imagine it would be very cosy in winter with the log burner going!

“Character by the bucketload!” A lovely small 'quirky' cottage, with everything you could want. Welcoming but unobtrusive hosts; good location for visiting all the attractions in North/East Yorkshire. Local pub serves good food with a warm welcome. The visiting/moblile fish and chip van in the village is worth a visit.

“Great Week in the Vale of York” Great accomodation, friendly welcome and the hot tube was a big hit with the family. Well appointed and nicely presented self catering cottage. Although the owners house is adjoining there were no issues with privacy - nice rural setting. Laundry facilities provided so great for families. Malton only 7 miles away so easy access to supermarket and local shops. Location's great as it's handy for York, the coast, Dalby Forrest and North Yorkshires Moors - wish we'd had more time to explore as we found that there was just so much to do. Highlights of the week were: hiring mountain bikes in Dalby Forrest, and sightseeing in York Only slight down side was that there was no blind on the velux window in the downstairs (3rd) bedroom. So it was just as well that our son gets up at the crack of dawn anyway. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage as it was also great value for money.
