“Beautiful villa, can't fault our stay!” A group of 6 of us, 3 couples, stayed at Villa 888 1 for 10 nights earlier this month. A friend recommended this Villa as she knows the owner, Janmaree. We are so lucky to have had this recommendation as our stay was heavenly. Two guests arrived earlier than expected and had a slight issue with check-in, as I think there was a little confusion and they weren't expecting the group till later in the evening, but when the 2nd half of our party arrived, we all settled in beautifully, straight into the magnificent pool, Bintang in hand! Wayan and Wayan were fabulous, tending to our every need, and providing local information and excellent servicing of the villa. The villa is a short walk from eat street in Bali, so we had access to everything we needed, but the villa is set back off the main street so it is quiet and peaceful most of the time. There are some constructions going on next door which made it difficult to have a sleep in if one wanted to. I would recommend checking when booking as to whether or not the construction is still taking place before committing to the booking if you're the type that likes to laze around in bed and snooze the day away. All in all, a great holiday, can't wait to go back, and would recommend Villa 888 and Janmaree and her team to anyone who wants a wonderful Bali getaway.

“Bliss in Paradise” I spent four days here and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in an opulent yet homey setting. The swimming pool and large lawn were wonderful fringe benefits, and the wall surrounding the compound made me feel cozy and secure. I give it my highest recommendation.

“Location location” Loved the villa, staff were excellent, meals were good. Would definitely stay here again. Only one slight problem if you are a light sleeper ... The rooster next door, it's so loud.

“Elegant Yet Cosy” For anyone with a visual sense, this property is a delight. It manages to strike a perfect balance between being elegant and chic, while being friendly, cosy and intimate. Perfect for a couple, two couples, a small group of friends or family, it's cleverly designed so that the beautifully appointed bedrooms (with ensuites) are separate from one another, with the shared kitchen / dining area being super comfortable to lie about in and read, chat, or wine and dine. The second living area beyond the pool offers additional privacy if desired, or a great spot for a sunset drink. For me the highlight was the hand-painted details on the ceilings and walls - they're absolutely charming, as is the choice of fabrics and furnishings, colours and furniture. Every detail has been given meticulous attention with an artist's eye. A sense of tranquil beauty prevails. I felt right at home, and didn't want to leave.

“Amazing” We were blown away by this truly wonderful 2 weeks in this Villa The staff were the very best ,the Chef we wanted to bring him home and it is the best time that we have had.(we go away with all our family every other year)You must go to enjoy the same experience we had. “Great place and location” Fantastic place in an awesome and beautiful location. Further enough away from the hustle and bustle for peace and quiet but still fairly close to bars, places to eat etc. The dogs were super friendly and made our stay very happy!! Gil was very friendly and helpful with local places to eat and things to do, however did not realise that he would be staying at the property as well when it was booked, though this was not too much of a problem as his company was pleasant. Staff were great as were the amenities. Would have liked to stay for another couple of nights!
