“Beautiful Umalas Villias.” This place was beautiful and clean with everything you would want in a well equipped Villa. Chef was amazing. Tried very hard to make sure we were comfortable with our stay. You would definitely need a taxi to head to the beach or to do some shopping. But nothing was too difficult or too far away. I would highly recommend the villas. And hope to come back soon. It was so peaceful. The owner was always ready to answer any questions we had and helped us tremendously. Along with her amazing staff. Which included the driver, security guards, housekeeper and chief.

“Beautiful villa, can't fault our stay!” A group of 6 of us, 3 couples, stayed at Villa 888 1 for 10 nights earlier this month. A friend recommended this Villa as she knows the owner, Janmaree. We are so lucky to have had this recommendation as our stay was heavenly. Two guests arrived earlier than expected and had a slight issue with check-in, as I think there was a little confusion and they weren't expecting the group till later in the evening, but when the 2nd half of our party arrived, we all settled in beautifully, straight into the magnificent pool, Bintang in hand! Wayan and Wayan were fabulous, tending to our every need, and providing local information and excellent servicing of the villa. The villa is a short walk from eat street in Bali, so we had access to everything we needed, but the villa is set back off the main street so it is quiet and peaceful most of the time. There are some constructions going on next door which made it difficult to have a sleep in if one wanted to. I would recommend checking when booking as to whether or not the construction is still taking place before committing to the booking if you're the type that likes to laze around in bed and snooze the day away. All in all, a great holiday, can't wait to go back, and would recommend Villa 888 and Janmaree and her team to anyone who wants a wonderful Bali getaway.

“Ideal for a family!!” We stayed at Umalas Retreat 2 in August, took advantage of cheap flights from Darwin and there opening special. Our family was not disappointed! Main bedroom extremely spacious, kids rooms well set up and all the amenities that one could ask for. Outside area was good, pool was clean and the kids loved it. Thank you so much to the housekeeper / chef she prepared us local food and we all enjoyed the experience, also thank you to Kay in helping us with the booking and providing us with idea of things to do in the area.

“Fulfilled our expectations” This is a great villa, clean, spacious and very peaceful! Can't say enough about the staff, they just wanted to make our holiday special. Owner Noel was great to deal with, he even took the time to come and meet us. The rooms are good, all with air con which is a relief from the heat of Bali. Mozzies are an issue, but that is everywhere in Bali. You have to be diligent and close the villa up early and spray every night, this keeps them at bay! The pool is amazing with direct sunlight from 11am until 4pm- great for getting a tan! I would recommend hiring a car, it makes things so much easier as the villa is slightly out from the main drag of Seminyak. Would highly recommend this villa, it has everything you need!

“Back for more!” This was our 2nd stay in La Sirena and we can't wait to go back again. The staff are all friendly, honest and do a great job of everything from bookings to housekeeping and even running laundry for you. The bedrooms are well air conditioned with huge king size beds and the downstairs open living is well set out. We had no issues with mosquitoes however there are coils provided. Great proximity to the beach and walking distance to some good restaurants, bars and taxis if you need to go further out. A mini mart with an honest money changer is about 5 minutes walk away. We'll be back gain for sure!

“What a find!” We are just back from Bali and I have to tell everyone about this amazing villa that we feel so lucky to have found. We have stayed in a number of villas in Bali over the years but Umulas Retreat is one of the few villas where the minute you walk in you know have found something special. We travelled with out daughter and the villa is stocked with games/videos/pool toys which meant that we didn't have to think about anything at all (other than working on our tans). The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble, Juwini is not only an amazing chef cooking up a storm at the drop of a hat (we even had a suckling pig one night!) but a fountain of knowledge - is there anything this lady does not know. She made our stay one we will always remember and cherish and we are already planning our next visit. The villa itself is incredible, the decor is stunning (I'm planning on stealing lots of ideas) and is beyond comfortable, the beds are massive king size beds with the best quality bed linen I came across in the three weeks we spent in Bali. We loved walking through the area and discovering an abundance of new cafes's/restaurants that have popped up, but if we wanted to venture into Seminyak it was 5 mins away. We loved our stay and really can't recommend this villa to everyone we speak to.

“Great Location, Price and Great Holiday in Bali!” We have been to Bali on several family holidays but never stayed at a villa before but always will from now on! We were picked up at the airport and then greeted by Kadek the staff at the villa even though after midnight with welcome drinks and a couple of things we requested waiting for us! The villa was really comfortable and much less than other villas which was important for us for a holiday on a budget. The kids loved the pool and the villa was well equipped with everything we needed. Kadek the housekeeper was great and always had everything clean even if the kids made a mess! Steve the owner helped out by making everything easy and organising some drivers and tours which we very recommend Wayan for as he was brilliant! Thanks so much also for the gift for our childrens birthday it made it a special birthday in Bali for Emily :) See you all again soon!

“Most amazing villa I've stayed in” This villa is deceivingly huge. The photos don't do it justice whatsoever. We had a quiet stay in probably the best part of seminyak, just walk to the shops and all the restaurants. We loved being able to walk to potatoe head and the beach. The rooms are massive and it's so comfortable, can fit so many people comfortable and the rooftop is such a bonus. I'd recommend this villa to everyone, I'II surely be back. “Exceptional experience - Bali style!” This was my ninth trip to Bali over the past 5 years and every trip just keeps getting better. We have stayed in The Laksmina villas now on three occasions and the experience is always effortless. The Villa we had this time was Villa Toba, two bedroom with private pool and two bathrooms. The villa itself was immaculately clean and presented beautifully, with many textures and subtle lighting to add to the ambience. The team of staff who caters for us were very attentive to our every need, anticipating our desires and assisting whenever needed. It like the fact that they phone before coming into the villa and f you need anything at all they are just across the path and can be there in a minute. Highly recommend this row of villas, they are in my opinion in the best location in Seminyak, we didn't need to hire a scooter because everything was in walking distance. Seminyak Square shopping centre, La Lucciola restaurant, Ku DeTa restaurant and Bar. Samaya Hotel and resort across the road, we dined at the Breeze restaurant there a couple of times. Only a 5 minute taxi ride to world class restaurant such as Metis and Sarong.. We will be back again for sure.
